Should mention:

Burst-fire launchers == spread launchers. Spreads fire a burst of 3 or 5 rockets (depending on whether it got the 3-shot or the 5-shot barrel.) I typically see the 5-shots called Spread launchers if another prefix (like Steel) doesn't top it, whereas the three-shot spreads will be called Triple (again, if it isn't topped by another prefix.)

That's according to previous experience + preliminary Gearclac tests, anyway...

Maybe, I wasn't going by the actual titles or anything I just took the stuff off of the wiki for that part. According to that there are actually two types of spread launchers- ones that fire the rockets straight ahead like normal and the other fires them in a horizontal line (kinda like a launcher version of the Hydra). I know the horizontal exists cuz I picked one up while playing with my brick a few days ago.



I've actually been working on this thing for about a week now. I'd usually do a section or two and then go play videogames the rest of the day. I rushed today to get it out though, I'm having oral surgery tomorrow to get my wisdom teeth out so I'm gonna spend the rest of the week doped up on happy gas. (well, they're using a liquid injection now but same effect)

I guess you could separate them into Triple vs. Spread...

3 shots have a 3-shot mag, and up-to 3.somthin rof, 5-shots have up to 6 and a 5.1 or so rof...

I think I see what you are saying. The problem is that I got that info off of the wiki and the gearcalc is saying something else. I guess I'll go with the gearcalc on that one.


@thrasher - I added a link to that naming guide as some of that is still a bit confusing to me. I think I'm just being too lazy to study it further.



Also added the Plague to the glitch list. Sorry s6, I'm gonna keep calling it a "glitch" because in my personal opinion that is what it most likely is. Plus it keeps it simple for the newbies.
