What size shirt should I get?

So I want to buy a gearbox DNF shirt while the FAC 20% discount is on, but the only options I can see are small, medium, large, extra large, and extra extra large (haha).

Edit: just read the FAQ and found the table thing, but now what I need to know is, are the width measurements taken when no one's wearing the shirt? I.e it's layed flat on the ground, stretched out, and measured from side to side?

Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt that the width measurement is taken with the shirt laid out flat, although that's not saying that it's 100% not.

If in doubt, measure yourself and use the size chart provided for each article of clothing to pick out the best fit for you. Our measurements are made from seam to seam, with width taken just below the arm, and height measured from the shoulder to the bottom of the garment.

I myself buy XL although Large fits me perfectly i like to have it a bit larger.
