That's not the mentality I have, I don't even mod. I just think it would be cool if custom levels would be pre-made for console versions.

Mod tools will probably never be released by GBX, they have to get the go ahead from 2k which loves extra pay DLC. Why pay for something when you can get it for free, taking half the time and money from a modder. It subtracts from DN revenue and the higher ups freak out thinking it's the end.

PC version is always less anyway. The real money comes from console players because they can't make mods, therefore they could sell maps for download.

2K allowing a game to support mods
Im suspecting since 2K has appeared to be an avid supporter for Steam nowadays its to take advantage of the steamworks shop
Dont count out mods yet

How do you know it's a 2K supported game? I see no mention of them.

Because XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a game published by 2K games. You can look it up on Wikipedia or one of the many sites that provide infos on video- and computergames.

And besides, the article above is not the only article about that game.

EDIT: And once you have mastered internet-basics, you can start becomng an internet-pro and try search engines like Google (adress is http://www.google.com). There is a text-field in which you can enter stuff like "xcom enemy unknown publisher" and you will get an answer to your query and many links to sites that tell you the publisher.

1) Old school level design
2) No weapon limit
3) Static health
4) Way, way funnier humor than in DNF
5) Make the game self aware about how stupid it is, how cheesy Duke's one liners are, how ridiculous the character of Duke is.
6) No more misogyny from Duke! ("You're ******. Seriously, what was up with that?)
7) As much as I wouldn't like to admit it, in these times, you can't just quote movies anymore, give Duke original one liners
8) Make Duke a hero again. In Duke Nukem Forever, he didn't save one person, not one. That makes him come off as an asshole (along with the misogyny mentioned above), Duke may be and egotistical brute that solves every problem with violence, but he's likable because he always does the right thing besides that, and that is saving innocent people (especially the women) from the alien menace!

No, you DON'T want old school level design. Old school level design means using few polygons like in Doom in order to overcome the limitations of the engine and make a wide level anyway.
What you (and I) want is NON-LINEAR level design.

Agreed.

No. Static health means that you have to type DNKROZ in order to experience the story without dying and dying and dying and dying and dying. Regenerating health is a perfect compromise.

The funniness of humor is subjective, but I'd say to get rid of humor completely. As long as there is humor, someone will always find it unfunny, but without even attempting at humor, this problem does not exist.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
That would make the humor in that game EVEN WORSE than in DNF!

That goes with "get rid of humor completely".
