Is this a glitch or am I just stupid? -- Dr. Mercy Quest

I just killed Dr. Mercy and I'm trying to get this gun, but it's like it's fallen through the map or something, so now I can't complete the quest.

I've got the indicator, but no actual gun.

Has this happened to anyone else?

(ps, sorry if this is in the wrong spot, didn't want to chance ruining anything)

I was able to quit and reload and get the gun, but still, something to consider (mods, if you want to move this to tech support?)

thats jus a problem at the moment with guns falling through the floor. seems quit common in certain places. sanctuary is another place that guns when dropped fall through the floor.
it should get patched soon but itl take over a month at least imo cos of certification an stuff. i dunno wether they can fastrack updates. this is quit a major bug. i mean the games is based around finding loot, its pointless even looking for it when it falls through the floor an you cant get it.

I had the same exact thing happen to me just now which is what bought me to this forum...I really wanted to see what gun that was!

you have to go up to to doc mercy an press x or woteva to search him for his gun. it does not drop off his body. it is put in your inventory automatically after you search his body.

It happened to me once. I could see his body where I'd expect it to be after killing him, but the quest indicator pointed to somewhere else below me that appeared to be in the ground.

As mentioned above, you don't actually pick up his gun for the quest off the ground. You have to search his body. If it's not working, or the quest marker points to someplace you can't reach, just quit and reload and run back there. I did this and his body was right where he usually spawns at and I was able to search it.

This happened to me. A lot. 5 times in a row if Im not mistake.
