Quest in the fridge??

Any tips on how to get that goliath one. It isn't appearing. I foun d a huge frozen goliath with a dahl shield. Tried shooting him, grenading him, hitting him, and finding a fire gun and shooting him with that. Anyone know how to start the quest?

if it has a dahl sheild, use a dahl gun.

I thought I was finally going to figure it out yesterday when a side mission for scooter bringing flowers and food to his cannibal girlfriend opened up the last remaining grey zone on the map for me, but still no exclamation mark. It's a mystery or a glitch... if the latter, it's terrible and drives my OCD crazy, I hate having that "undiscovered" ugliness in my mission log.

Im lvl 27. Like im way over lvl'd. It just pisses me off its uncompleted

I got it from killing a goliath hidden in a corner on the other side of the map from where you zone in, by all the crystalisks. He dropped an echo which started me off. That giant goliath with the Dahl shield is what you kill to finish the quest.
