Default [PC Utility] Borderlands 2 Tweaker

Hello everyone!

I have started to dev a little software (C++/Qt) to tweak our favorite game without the need of modifying some INI files.

Here is a list of the one that I find useful to add:
  • Enable/Disable startup movies
  • Enable/Disable 'cel-shading' effect
  • Enable/Disable texture streaming on the fly
  • Enable/Disable dynamic shadows
  • Enable/Disable dynamic lights
  • Enable/Disable 'god rays' lights
  • Enable/Disable distortion effect
  • Set Foliage Distance more precisely and possibility to remove foliage (mainly dynamically generated grass)
  • Set detail mode (not the same as the in-game Game Detail setting)
  • Set shadows resolution (128, 2048, 4096)
  • Set PhysX effect (even if you don't have a proper Nvidia card, effects will be calculate by the CPU)
  • Set the Ragdoll effect ()
  • Backup/Restore save data
  • auto ini files backup

But I want your opinions on what tweaks do you want me to implement!

I will try to release a first alpha version during the next few weeks!
And if some of you want to make an icon for the app, you're welcome!

PS: For the admin, i might have misplaced my topic, do not hesitate to move it!

Nice! Would a third-person mode tweak be doable?

Okay, it looks a little bit more complicated than in the first one, so I will not implement that hack on the alpha version!
But if you wanna test it:

I'll use it for sure. It would be nice to increase the rez of the shadows. Any chance on enhancing the rez on the walls? even on max in-game settings alot of the walls of the ships and rock are pixelated or grainy looking and out of focus because its a lower rez than the rest of the game. Its annoying having maxed AA and the edges are smooth but the rest isn't its almost like they only focused on signs and models (character, and vehicles)

There will be a option to set the textures sizes of the shadow (between 256 and 4096).
But i can't enhance the wall's rez, except if I draw new picture with a size more than 4096!
You can try NVidiaInjector for changing and adding some control on the AA (FXAA or SMAA)

I'm curious about the tool's functionality. Does your tool do anything other than write some changes to INI files and copy a few files over, or it is mostly just a basic IniWrite/FileCopy script?
