Introducing new alien: Spitter
 As much as I like idea of having long range spitter (something alike left4dead zombie) I don't admire design that much.Is too...cliché.The tubes green coloured...in their true xeno nature they are basically commandos.Special forces if you like. They will hit from behind above below they will blind you, use numbers to assault you test your defences...and succesfully camouflaged,Which this alien fail to do.

I think we should give the new xeno a try. It's about time we have a playable acid spitting xeno in a game. After we play it then we can say if it works or doesn't!

I those 'acid containers' were darker in colour to make the xeno less visible then I am totally fine with this. Either way, I don't mind.

I must say I like the design a lot! The praetorian looking head is so cool although the acid pockets don't look arraigned completly but I don't mind that much.

The acid pockets are too bright in dark, and they would look better with some organic vains going through it. They look too minimalist at this point.
Since GBX chose to introduce a Spitter as a new breed (despite the fact it came from L4D), I just hope to see a marine melting and smoking while trying to remove his armor after being hit by an acid spit. And pay attention to the facial expression of the guy being grabbed in the 3rd pic above: IT'S INEXISTENT!!!!!!!! What are these marines made of? Stone? Steel?
