Looks good, but you might want to wait a while on this. I think the developers would be a bit more receptive if this project was a mod for DNF. Keep in mind that since gearbox now owns the Duke ip, you'd need permission from both 3dRealms and Gearbox.

There's already some discussion going on in the other forum about a Duke3d mod. It'd probably be a better idea to do it that way, anyways, as a lot of the required assets would be available from the start. This, of course, depends on the tools being available for DNF. So you know what your next email should be.

I already talked to Gearbox, who says they dont have anything to do with "Former Duke Games".

Im still trying to convince Scott Miller
But yeah, it would be easier if i had DNF,

Scott Miller sounds cool.

Good luck.

Awesome very well done. I tried to map in Unreal ED, it's bit difficult to make doors in corridors and resize walls like in hammer editor.

Looks great.

Subscribed (to dn3d remake).
Fresch, you are very talented.
How long (once you got the go-ahead) would it take to actually remake dn3d like that?

If it gets the "Go" from Scott Miller, i would need a team. I my self am very productive, but a full game - even with help from a lot of people - would take years. If it gets the "Go!" my plan is to release a 1 map Multiplayer release with a couple of weapons to play with, to spark interest in the project
