First let me say that I ran a search and a good portion of the info is available but not the exact answer to my question which should be fairly simple. I'm looking to transfer a few saved characters I have on from a 360 save, and use them on a PC version of the game if that's even possible. Obiv. I'll need willowtree and a usb drive (which I have) to move the file over, I'm just trying to find out what I need to do from that point on to make the save playable on my PC if thats even possible.

Are you sure of that? i don't know the structure of the xbox save file, but the pc version is a port of the xbox after all =/
Would love to open up a 360 save and compare them side by side ![]() Greetz Apple-Guy

They're almost identical, but the bit order (endianness) is different between some pieces of the PC and console saves. One could write a utility to convert them, but most people just create a new save on the target platform and copy over all their gear, missions, and echo logs using Willow Tree.

Ok so I can't transfer the file, but I can basically create a copy of it. Anyone have a link to a helpful tutorial or site outlining exactly how I go about doing this? I've never messed around with willowtree or modding BL's but I am fairly computer savvy and would be able to figure it out if I could have some direction, thanks again.

1. Transfer your xbox file to your pc with a flash drive.
2. Open the flash drive with a program like xtaf and place it on your desktop. 3. Use the available files from willowtree to open it up then search under your weapons and items. 4. Select an item or weapon you want to transfer and click on the "selected" drop down menu and export them to locker. 5: After creating your new pc borderlands file, open it with willowtree and transfer the weapons and items. 6. Adjust your weapon and item levels how you wish with the quality and level sliders and enjoy. you can transfer missions and stuff but it is very easy to mess up your file by doing this. Honestly you should play the game normaly then add your gear back later.

Ok, I've got my 360 file onto my PC. I exported all the weapons on my 360 save to "The Locker" in willowtree, I now have my PC game save file open, how the hell do I import these guns into this save? Using the "import" function doesn't seem to be working.

Ok, I got all my weapons over, but it scaled them down all to really low levels.
