Default Player Loyalty Rewards

When I first saw this, I was like, "hey look at that... that's cool that they're giving their previous supporters a perk for playing their first Borderlands game". Then I clicked on it and it tells me it can't find and save data from the original. Surely, they must realize people delete old files so that they can keep as much memory as possible available, so a lot of people that played the first game, I'm predicting, won't be able to get their rewards because of this.

Don't you think it would've made more sense to check if the player has any achievements from your first title? I'm sure I'm not missing out on much, but when I see something I could've had, it's only naturally to desire it lol.

I'm curious as to why you'd erase the data for the original, of all things.....
I'd erase Bioshock 1 and 2 before I'd nix my BL1 save data.

I had a physical copy of borderlands 1 that had no achivements. A save file check is the most wide reaching check for old players

Yeah, I'm sure that 67 kb of data was really clogging up your drive...

When I install a game and go to delete the 7 gigs off once I'm finished playing it, I do it as the entire package. If I don't have a game anymore, why would I keep the info? It amazes me why so many people on the internet just want to be hostile.

And you pretty much just had to run forward in the first game to get one achievement, so I think it's borderline impossible to say you've played the game, yet you finished playing it without receiving one achievement.

If people are really desperate for a save, and it's not against the rules, I can send them one.

It'd be for the PS3.

There is no loyalty in deleting Borderlands saves to make room for lesser games!

As several other person have said it in other threads like this, just reinstall BL1, create a char, and you'll get your loyalty reward. It takes 10 mins.

Most folks who played the first game want to preserve their hours upon hours of gameplay and all of their loot, makes sense to me to go by game saves. If it's that big of a deal, redownload or rent a copy to make a save and get your perks then delete/return it and move on.
