Stupid and probably Nooby Gunzerking question

Is there any way to change my left hand weapon? I usually have assualt rifles equipped as my main "go-to" and when I bust out the gunzerk I'm stuck with something like a Pistol. Is there anyway to switch out the left hand weapon?

your left-hand weapon is your second weapon in your inventory. change your weapon there and you'll gunzerk with the 2 weapons you want!

From top to bottom in your inventory, weapons 1 and 2 gunzerk with each other, and weapons 3 and 4. If you only have 3 weapons, then the weapon you are holding will stay on the right, equipping the weapon 2 if you're using weapon 1, vice versa, and weapon 1 if you're using weapon 3. Switching weapon will switch your right weapon, but your left weapon won't switch.

Also, if you want to change your left hand weapon during zerking, swap weapons twice.

I'm able to swap the second weapon, if I were to hit the left d-pad, followed straight after by the right d-pad both hands will swap weapon.
