Question Will Borderlands 2 be coming with Steam to Linux?

I'm curious. The wheels are in motion. The gears are turning. We are at the dawn of a revolution. Will Borderlands 2 be taking part in the great exodus?

EDIT!
Speaking of revolutions... have muzak: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UZwh0hTzcQ

EDIT (7/6/2013): Huh. People are still posting in this thread occasionally. Won't lie, the initial enthusiasm presented in the OP has tarnished a little due to the slow pace of things. Good to know people are still hopeful, though.

Let Valve port L4D first I know they've got it working but I doubt it is ready for an official release yet. Also, since BL is made using Unreal engine, I dont think unless the engine gets ported, the game can too. But we'll see in coming years how that goes.

L4D2 has had Linux bits in it since launch, IIRC. So far we have L4D2 and Serious Sam 3 confirmed for launch titles.

SS3 has been confirmed ? Wow nice. On the other hand, afaik, UE still doesnt have a Mac or a Linux version yet. Mac ver was announced in Oct 2011 I think and last time I checked, it still wasn't there.

Well, hopefully Gabe was speaking truths when he said that he planned to make it as "easy as possible for the 2,500 titles on Steam to be fully playable on Linux".

Hmmm? I thought UE3 was supported on mac...BL1 is on there, after all.

I doubt we'll see a native linux port, but hey, no harm in asking.

Foot in mouth. Yes. In UE3 you can make games for Mac but UE3 itself doesn't have the Mac version. Both are two separate things. Just checked it.

it seems that many games are doable on linux but seems that a fair knowledge of command line is required (i know we have play on linux and wine).
i have been using ubuntu for years and would love some of these games in an easy to install package.

So, is there any official answer to this question?
