Arid Nexus Badlands

Ive discovered eridium blight but it doesn't seem to be on the map. Anyone know where it is?

Its the island by itself in a square on the bottom left of the map.

You need to continue with the story, it will eventually send you to Arid Nexus Boneyard and then to the Arid Nexus Badlands.
