Hey guys,

I want to download Mechromancer on my PS3 copy of Borderlands 2, but everytime I go to the Downloadable Content section, it gives me the error and just takes me back to the main menu. What can I do?

That's what I thought at first, but even when it wasn't, I couldn't get to it. =(
Cause I've had this game for 3 weeks now, and every day I try, I get the same error =/

Actually, to echo this, I have also been having the same issue since release. I bought the Deluxe Vault Edition and I cannot get the Mechromancer, nor have I started with my vault key or weapons for the pre-order. I did put the applicable codes in.

I have also tried deleting my game data in the game data utility and reinstalling the DLC unlock code.

Related, I purchased the DLC for Borderlands (1) Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot and I cannot access that DLC in game, although I had previously downloaded and installed the others (Ned, Revolution, Knoxx) without issue.

Any ideas?

Tomorrow I am going to take my router out of the equation and see what happens.

*edit: For interested parties I will update the post whether it worked or not, and if so, will track down what the issue is.

I took the router out, hooked the PS3 up directly to the modem and I can say it is not a router issue.

Uninstalled the DLC Content for the pre-order key and reinstalled it. No key, no golden gun pack, etc. Still also no mechromancer download available to me.

For the vault hunter deluxe edition key is says purchased, but the status says not downloaded no matter how many times I have downloaded, installed, checked the game, uninstalled, rinse and repeat.

Wow =/ This is troubling. I was thinking, would it work if I used PlayStation Store to install the add-on. I'll give it a try this Thursday when I'm free and I'l let you know.

I had this problem 1 hour ago, and now it shows up in my download content area, but when I go to a fast travel kiosk, it doesn't show any location for the new DLC.

So, it shows in the DL area, but not in any travel location (IE - I can't play the DLC)
