Having the same issue. Hardly ever dipped below my max fps before DLC. Now consistently see huge spikes down to 1-4 fps then lingers in between 20-40 fps then back up. I put in well over 200 hours pre dlc and never had any frame rate issues.
For devs: My fps was locked at 50fps and my specs are as follows: AMD 8150FX overclocked with water cooling 12GB RAM GeForce 660Ti It is a very noticeable difference. I was able to fraps at 30fps at 1920X1200 pre-dlc and now because of the spikes I wouldn't dare. Any response from the devs to confirm or deny any issue would be awesome. Don't even need an ETA just need to know its a known issue. Last edited by Maquegyver; October 17th, 2012 at 03:02 PM. |

Wow I just looked on steam and I have 229 hours in BL2 LOL....As I mentioned above I had issues a few times in vanilla BL2 but it is pretty bad post DLC.
I'm grabbing at straws now and will update physx this evening...but as I understand it I thought the game shipped with a Driverless model of PhysX so it's stand alone...not sure if an Nvidia updater would rifle its way through your entire hard drive to update PhysX files installed in game specific folders....but that'd be nice or I miss understand Nvidia ( very possible lol). |

We're working with NVIDIA on this now. A potential fix has been identified and will start testing soon.

I also experience severe lags in combat. Changing DefaultPostProcessName in the WillowEngine.ini file to WillowEngineMaterials.RyanScenePostProcess makes the lag even worse, which means that it also occurs in the main menu and when running around. The funny thing is, it worked fine at first, and suddenly started to stutter as hell without any reason. I installed the newest drivers, restarted Steam and my PC several times, reinstalled the game on my SSD ... no difference.

http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/sh...d.php?t=175097 Likewise, while some people have issues only in the DLC (or just certain areas of the DLC), some of us are seeing framerate problems even in the vanilla game that didn't exist prior to the DLC update. I'm sure you guys are aware of all this from the various threads, but I figured it can't hurt to offer additional information. Thanks for your help - love the game!
