Default Tundra Express: Farmhouse

So I've been meaning to post something on this for a few days, completely forgot until I started to back and farm out a few levels before continuing with the story quest on my Mechromancer.

The location I'm talking about is screened below.

In the area there area bunch of ammo boxes, a gun chest, and a full (round trip) fast travel station.

This is all in a trap door.

Behind an electric fence.

That you have to turn off if you port to it before you can get out.

What the hell is this for?

Nevermind. Took two steps outside and got swarmed by varkids. I assume this is verm farming territory.

I think it's just another fast travel. Other than people trying to farm for Vermi over there, I haven't seen much use for it. I didn't even unlock it on my Mech until way after I beat the pt2.

Yeah, the second I stepped outside I remember where I found in PT1 (its hard to do the varkid quest on an LBT mecro. Typically your reloads super boan them >.>).

Then I saw like... 4 of them go into pods and thought "oooooh... this is what that's for."

Didn't know if there'd been any speculation to it, but this seems... very logical.

That's a good place to farm Verm if you're hurting for time.

Since it has a portrait of one of Marcus's ancestors, one of his vending machines, and the switch for the fence at the bottom of the ladder has his name on it, I'm going with one of his safe-houses.
