Default Shield Part Spotters' Guide (now with all the shared shield parts)

In process of figuring out which Evolution I'm looking for in the vendor, I nailed down the variable parts with the help of Gearcalc and a bunch of pictures. UPDATE: the rest of the shared shield parts that don't spawn on an Evolution have been added.

If anyone's interested in figuring out their ideal evolution: if you make a Neogenator in Gearcalc, the Resist % and health bonus will be the same as for an Evolution, and the recharge rate will be .625 of the Neogenator's. Versus a Neogenator of the same parts, the recharge delay seems slower by about .33 seconds and there's an increased shield capacity of at least +8000 and up to around +19000.

Maxxed list for Evolution:
Max Capacity is 41828 and comes from pure Anshin
Max Recharge rate is 3923 and comes from pure Tediore
Min Recharge delay is 1.58 and comes from pure Hyperion
Max resist/health is 86%/26648 and comes from Maliwan body, Maliwan battery, Hyperion Capacitor.

Bodies
Maliwan, Hyperion Dahl

Vladof, Anshin, Tediore (no part visible)

Bodies that don't spawn on an Evolution:

Pangolin, Bandit, Torgue

Capacitors
Vladof, Hyperion, Tediore

Dahl, Anshin

Capacitors that don't spawn on an Evolution:

Pangolin, Bandit

The 4 capacitors that give a shield elemental immunity are invisible: Torgue Explosive & Maliwan Shock, Fire and Corrosive.

Batteries
Vladof, Hyperion, Tediore

Anshin, Maliwan

Batteries that don't spawn on an Evolution:

Bandit, Torgue, Dahl

Pangolin (looks identical to the Maliwan battery but dramatically increases shield capacity)

Sweeet !
btw the one giving the most hp, for those brawn loving gunzerkers, is this the same Maliwan body, Maliwan battery, Hyperion Capacitor as mentioned above.

Oh god. These close-up images have made me notice the clipping for the first time.

Oh, good work too.

Thanks guys.
good point Kmkzipedestrian - Maliwan parts seemed pretty rare though so I'm pretty sure that's one of the rarest combos - I never even saw a Maliwan body spawn with a Maliwan battery.

fwiw I went with this one on Axton:

yep working on it (there are no Bandit, Torgue or Pangolin parts for an Evolution)

I knew I was missing one torgue.

I just wanted to make sure you knew, never know could have slipped.

I dont expect bandits to make shields ether but they have the technology to spell plasma caster correctly so anything is possible.

Very insightful, OP... this is neat as the Evo is one of my favorite items in the game. This is mine:

CAP - 21211
RR - 2971
RD - 2.02
ER - 81
HP - 25061

Comparing it visually to the parts you posted, mine has the Mali body, Dahl capacitor, & Mali battery. I mainly want to know if there's an Evo with more than 25k HP

That evo for your commando is awesome.. i got handed a crappy one from a friend i still think my neogenator works alot better, saving up crystals from pete for a proper evo shield though.

indeed - make that a hyperion capacitor and you get 26448 hp!* (gearcalc link to the corresponding neogenator)

*as first noted by Kmkzipedestrian

yeah same thing with the first Evolution I got - I was tricked by the multiplayer 0.00 recharge delay bug and I ended up getting one that didn't recover as quick as I'd hoped I wanted my next Evolution to beat my Neogenator across the board
