We've long been admirers of the team at Brady Games -- their hardcover guides for Borderlands and Borderlands 2 are highly coveted within the Gearbox Software offices -- so when the opportunity came to work together on a dedicated art book for Borderlands 2, we were thrilled.

Now, The Art of Borderlands 2 is about to hit stores, and we wanted to let you know what you were in for. For starters, you've got well over 200 pages of behind-the-scenes materials, many of it never-before-seen, with exclusive commentary from the development team.

So you guys really want to make me negative in the money category, huh.

Love the art, this will be mine. I wish getting $9,999,999 was as easy in real life as it was in Borderlands 1.

What would make this even better is if it were a combination of BL1 and BL2 being able to see how the art changed and evolved.

I was thinking, since it's being released before DLCs3&4, does that mean that there is no DLC art in the book at all?
That'd be kind of a shame, but I'm big time excited regardless, it's looking awesome

This is now on my Amazon Wish List. If it's not a gift for the Holidaze I'll be getting it shortly after! Now, time to go drop hints to the family I need this book and not sweaters.

About time this thing comes out. Amazon.de keeps sending me e-mails about delays in release. Have the artbook pre-ordered since mid August.

I wonder if they'll release another artbook that contains art from the DLCs when all four are out.
