Extermination- New Multiplayer Mode

Fact sheet released by Sega today:

Badass competitive multiplayer.
Play as Xenomorphs or Marines in a range of thrilling game modes – Team Deathmatch, Escape, Extermination and Survivor. Xeno players will have to focus on agile movement and timing of quick, devastating attacks. Marines take them on with teamwork and incredible firepower.

What could extermination be about? It almost sounds alot like Deathmatch. This always happens with these ambiguous titles. Its the only thing thats getting me going, but its just a flimsy MP mode, to me isn't as exciting as SP.

Sounds like Xeno's have unlimited respawns but the marines have to wipe them all out to stop the infection....or something?

I hope it's a clean out the hive type mode.

Or maybe every time a marine dies it gives the xenos another spawn or something, I hope it's sweet.

A hive extermination type mode sounds good.

I hope the aliens get some objectives besides "hunt" and "kill" this time.

Do Aliens typically have objectives outside of killing people or capturing them for impregnation? Considering that there wont be any sort of lifecycle in the game, I doubt we'll see much beyond killing people.
