What's the best Sand Hawk?

Title of the thread pretty much sums it up. Is there a particular one I should be looking for when accepting the reward for "Whoops"?

Lots of people prefer the Sand Hawk with the "Flying" prefix, due to increased bullet velocity. If you prefer a little extra damage, go with the "Stopping" prefix.

And yes, one with Shock damage is ideal vs. Shields, and one without element works well vs. everything else

Actually, "Stopping" with the damage accessory is the most popular one, though "Flying" may be preferred by some. I tried giving it a chance, what with the awesome name, but due to the maximum fire rate of Dahl weapons coming from their burst-fire mechanic, the minor speed increase didn't do it for me.

exactly. I prefer the shock stopping sandhawk. it melts pete's face completely off, this I know for fact.

any shock sand hawk is great for pyro pete, but the best one i have found damage wise is Captain Scarletts Sand Hawk, with almost 2 thousand more damage than the elemental variants i have

Bull, unless a non-Dahl grip lowers the damage by that much. "Captain Scarlett's" is also a default prefix that pops up when the gun has no other accessories, resulting in an overall weaker weapon, usually.

If you use it with the Bee, it's damage doesn't matter that much (118k or 119k per bullet? Irrelevant). Fire rate, mag size and reload speed are more important then.

If you use it mostly against Pete, then the shock variant will probably save you a reload or two when taking down his shields. His small arena also means that accuracy is a non-issue.
