Kill the Warrior for the first time in a PT.

Hit select and go to your BA pt screen.

Hit triangle twice (this will create a save pt with the moonshot available).

Bring in a mule.

Have the mule run down and hit the MS button.

Loot with mule.

Save quit with mule ONLY.

Hard quit/dashboard with your main.

Rinse repeat.

After you kill the warrior and BEFORE you hit the moonshot save and exit, make a back up, then start the game again and hit the moonshot, and either dashboard or quit game or whatever depending on the system, if you don't get what you want. You only really need the back up to make sure your save doesn't get corrupted or if you don't like dashboarding you can reload the save from the back up every time after saving and exiting but that takes longer.

Unfortunately even moonshot farming can take hours to get what your looking for, say a certain element and prefix, let alone perfect parts. I don't know how they ever expected for people to farm the warrior without the moonshot and find what your looking for.

he's not that hard to kill, people
if your weapon really sucks then you'll likely upgrade it after the first fight

I only backed up my save the first time I was attempting to MS farm. I never in used it. I am not sure but if you want multiple saves you may need multiple USBs.

You can follow Pine's directions but if you don't use a mule I have no idea how you will be able to save your gear. His steps will only get you one weapon that you're after I think. Mine you can farm it over and over and over.

Bonus: you will be power lvling your mule.

Has absolutely nothing to do with how easy/hard he is to kill.

Just make sure you bring in the extra character to loot with before you hit moon shot since the game autosaves for everyone whenever someone joins the party. It's also good to back up the moonshot save on a USB drive incase it gets screwed up somehow and so that you can go back at any time and farm up something you missed if you want to.

Yeah these are both correct you can only make one save per character file on a usb and the way I said will only get you one legendary. So if your looking to save the file to only moonshot farm I would suggest Dl33T's method of bringing in the mule but unfortunately I don't have much experience with that way.
