"Can't Download Compatibility Pack" Error

A new Compatibility Pack is rolling out on Xbox 360 to support the release of Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt.

We're hearing that the Compatibility Pack is now downloading properly on Xbox 360 for some and are continuing to work with Microsoft on this.

For those still experiencing the "Can't Download Compatibility Pack" error, please try adding the latest Compatibility Pack to your download queue from Xbox.com via this link: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Pr...4977?cid=SLink -- ideally, you should see a 258.15 MB download in your queue.

If you still require additional assistance, the best thing to do is submit a request for additional troubleshooting at either http://support.gearboxsoftware.com or http://support.2k.com

Already tried downloading from account history and I am being given error "Compatibility Pack cannot be downloaded at this time". Friend is getting same error. We both have all DLC but we can't join each other's games without this download, it won't let us. It will go 0% to 1% then to the error.

I still can't download it. I went to dashboard > account > download history > compatibility pack. I get the message to "download again," but once I hit the button the progress stays at 0%, then I get the "Can't download compatibility pack" message.

Would deleting the compatibility patch from the hard drive, and then re-downloading it work? I am afraid to try...

so, apparently people from a borderlands group on different website have been able to fix this by deleting the old compatibility pack from the hard drive and then re downloading it. im trying it now, ill post if it worked.

I have been locked out of online play as well. my problem is slightly different then the one other people are reporting. my pack has downloaded to 97% then it goes to 98%, 99% then back down to 0%. then i try to re-download and it starts at 97% again and then loops.
