A:CM "Bug Hunt" Mode [GBX Posts: #240 / #433]

I hate to double post but I cannot believe this. if this is infact real just yesterday I brought up the possibility that this had happened. that they had changed Survival mode into something else in the last minute. I dont remember who it was but they were one of the "in the club" members. But they acted if I was just insane. But if this is real, then Gearbox has done something that just disgusts me!

Selling "Bughunt" what should have been Survival, which is already in the game, for the crazy price of 14.99!

It's wrong! I've already had 3 FRIENDS CANCEL THEIR ORDER BASED OFF THIS. EVERYONE was like "It's an Aliens game, every Aliens game has Survival Horde mode...and there is that cool Survival trailer."

Then, this. Gearbox decides to charge us, 14.99$ for ONE GAME MODE, that WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE GAME BY DEFAULT!

Petition! Harass emails, go to websites! ANYTHING! Get this mode free for everyone! Get Gearbox to apologize!

If I hadn't gotten the game for free, I'd return it too!

well I guess getting the season pass was worth it.. Played the hell out of Zombies in black ops, hell that was the only reason I had the game installed lol.

but this news is kind of a kick in the teeth.

I doubt a petition would do any good , LOL Gearbox have kept shtum up until now who's to say they will even speak out about this .Maybe it wasn't their decision maybe it was, I cant believe I didn't see this coming, I bet they saw clear $$$ signs the second we were queering about the mode in early development.

Even call of duty comes with this mode standard and that game is the same package every year , and Activision are the biggest blood suckers in the industry.

1. This was a known thing, and getting histrionic about it now is pointless.

Not a lot of room for interpretation there. This is the horde mode that Survival was SUPPOSE to be

Oh just to add what if where all up in arms about nothing , and bug hunt is actually a well kept secret and will come in game all along . The final build they presented at the IGN conference could have something else entirely , deliberately edited out .

Because viewers could see all the modes in the menu selection ? I know id feel abit of an idiot if this turned out to be the case.
