Noticed the shadows were sharper but I had to roll back as the game started to glitch out on me.

Default Re: How to improve overal lighting quality.

As I said the lighting and lightmaps in the maps themselves need to be reworked and re-cooked before you'll see the lighting quality you're after! This game need much more dynamic lighting used to achieve the correct atmosphere for the game.
If GBX or TG do this then they may as well fix the texture issues and reinstate(or actually intergrate) the distance fog too!(that was seen in the press demo)
..but where does it stop? ...the AI gameplay etc, also needs work..
We can only hope that this will happen, and NOT via paid DLC...

If you experience black textures, simply change Anti-aliasing mode from override to Enhance. That worked for me.

You cannot get VAC banned in this game simply because it doesn't use the VAC system. Non of Gearbox's games use the VAC system, they don't even have cheat detection. How many people have already modified their Borderlands 2 save games to own the best guns in the game or used Cheat Engine to have unlimited skill points and non of them get banned.

Also these aren't cheat files, so why would Gearbox ban you for it?

Way too much saturation imho.

this game needs LESS to make it more realistic.

gonna try something myself.

I can't add it to CCC because there is no .exe.

Wtf lol? Where are yours located?

Edit: When I make a shortcut via Steam there is no target, because it's a freaking URL shortcut. What the hell did they do to this game?

Edit again: Nevermind, found it. Go to hell, PORTS!

Default ENB mod for better accurate lighting ,darker shadows and LESS colourfull pallette.

Try it , you might like it.

Just beware not to fiddle too much with the enb-config by maxing out ssao or the fps will drop to a snail-pace ( or not .... ,i"m playing this game on my 5 year old laptop ya know)

This little enb-config makes the lighting much more accurate/focused , shadows darker , overall a little bloomier and toned down the imho too much saturated colors to give the game a more realistic look.

Install by unzipping package and put all files where executable of game is.
Turn mod on/off by pressing SHIFT and F12.

Unistall by deleting all files from package.

btw. works only in DX9
