Default Steady & Do or Die = Kerblaster and Slippery Rifle?

For Axton

Do Steady and Do or Die help a Torgue Slippery Rfile's Explosive Damage?

Am sure they do for a Kerblaster...everyone recommends it......but not sure on the Slippery Rifle.

Am looking for an Explosive AR with a little more precision and range than a Kerblaster. I have two very nice Slippery Rifles but would like to get some bonuses added to it's punch.

I know an Explosive Damage Relic helps the Slippery Rifle...but hoping those two skill areas do as well.

Anything that boosts Grenade Damage will increase the Splash Damage that Torgue guns deal.

Kerblaster is nice if you can stand off and you got a resser behind you. Very easy to kill yourself with this, particularly if your a masher.

Default It's rather swert

I'm pretty sure that the grenade that the KerBlaster drops gets a full grenade damage boost as well.

Yup.

OP, I suggest you read this: A Guide to understanding Splash Damage

Great pointer! Read it and it was very helpful and interesting. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

That's what I like about this forum. Excellent Info and help.

And maybe that folks seem to have patience with my sometimes stupid questions....LOL

Why not just find yourself a Slippery KerBlaster with a Torgue grip? It'll do more damage than any purple Slippery Torgue rifle. I use one with an Impact Grenadier COM and +30% explosive dmg relic and it obliterates enemies. The Slippery prefix really helps the KerBlaster, as it ups the speed of the rockets and the KerBlaster's fire rate, so it's easier to lay down the pain. The little 'nades that drop after each impact do significant damage as well, (over 150k).

You will do just fine out to pretty long ranges, especially if you find one with a Jakobs scope, (this isn't hard, farm the Torgue machines). For even longer ranges, what you need is a Cobra.

I didn't actually find the Kerblaster to be a great weapon. Yes, the grenade it pops out benefits from grenade damage bonuses and yes, this grenade can do a fair whack of damage (I was seeing 150K)... But it also might do nothing. It doesn't reliably hit enemies unless they are huge. And if you're dealing with huge enemies a Harold or Ravager will work better anyway.

Kerblaster costs a lot of ammo for unreliable improvement over a "normal" Torgue rifle.

So I fully suppoprt the OP's investigating other Torgue weapons.
