And no offense, but I'm getting annoyed with the slag agenda.

I don't like it, yet everywhere I turn, it's getting shoved in my face.

I'm not compromising my weapon loadout just to add a worthless slag gun because UVHM tells me I must.

I'll just soldier on without it thanks!

If worst comes to worst, I'll go and get an explosive gun, my initial tests suggest even without slag, they're not keen on explosive rounds!

Unfortunately, I seriously doubt I can lay my hands on an explosive 50 infinity with scope.
Do they exist in explosive?
Getting the first 3 was near enough impossible!
I traded for them, they didn't drop.

And if you're wondering why it has to be an Infinity, it's because it supports Gaige's Close Enough skill.
With a gun that consumed ammo, I was too afraid to start shooting, because Close Enough was deactivated when I did.

Additional Data:
This wasn't planned, but I noticed the data when it happened.
Me and Deathtrap took on one Buzzard and two cars with a Corrosive gun.
They were torn apart in seconds.

That seems off, there's no way a ground enemy should be tougher then a vehicle!
Almost everything you said is wrong.

Ultimate Vault Hunter has, so far, been slightly more annoying that it has been fun. Battles that used to take two to three minutes are now ten-minute slogs which really doesn't mesh well with the rhythm of Borderlands 2's combat.

Fix it, Gearbox.
It's Bethesda level of stupid I find "hurr durr just give dem more elth! dat make dem harda rite gaiz!?!?"

Who said you needed a slag GUN?, slag grenades(singularity, jumpin biddy) will help you A LOT more than any gun would.

Tried that once.

I ran out of grenades pretty fast.
You only get 8 and they'd be used up before you even left the 2nd room!

So I don't use that approach either.

Post Re: Ironclad Lunatics and Corrosive Damage

I forget who it was. But whoever came up with this idea deserves a cookie.

Someone on the forums posted an alternative idea to increasing enemy health in UVHM as a means to raise difficulty levels. I thought it was much more interesting approach and would require you to think a (little) bit more. As opposed to emptying clip after clip into enemies. Ya know, like with Ironclad Jerk-Faces.

Basically, elemental damage modifiers would be adjusted. Further increasing the elemental damage multipliers on enemies that are weak to a particular element, while significantly decreasing the multiplier on the enemies that aren't.

Awesome, interactive, simple, and effective. Adding some much needed depth to UVHM difficulty instead of just ramping up health. I would still like enemy health to be increased on top of this, but not as much as it currently is.

Paired with what seems (to me) to be an increase in spawn rates, I think this could make for really awesome gameplay. It would definitely put more emphasis on reaction speed, combat assessment, problem solving, itemization, and relieve UVHM from being so dependent upon slag.

Somewhat of a tangent; I love the idea of weapon swapping. I just don't like weapon swapping being so reliant on slag. There is no need to make slag such a crutch.

Honestly, the Borderlands games have always had a problem with too much "slog through health bar" difficulty as opposed to "work out a smart way to deal with this problem" difficulty.

Well can you offer Tilarta any helpful advice instead of just saying he/she is wrong?
