Default Perfect Parts

I've been looking for a thread like this but couldn't find one so I just went ahead and made it. I know that as a general rule of thumb: guns that are made of all manufacturer parts have the best stats. But I always see people in this section posting about how they found a gun with "perfect parts", and the parts are usually not all manufacturer ones. Basically I'm wondering what the best possible parts are for some of the most popular guns out there? So to all you partophiles out there come drop some knowledge on us and let us know what guns truly are the best and most badass.

For sights and stocks, matching manufacturer isn't always the best. Matching them doesn't give any boosts (other than Dahl parts on Dahl guns), so each part stands alone. Most people prefer Dahl stocks and sights that don't zoom.

All manufacturer parts =/= best stats. Thats the basics.

For stocks, Dahl is the best, regardless of weapon type.

Perfect weapons (i.e weapons with perfect parts) differ according to the player's preference.

Another fact to note is that if the grip matches the manufacturer the weapons gets additional bonuses (over what the grip already provides)

Well sights provide no benefit besides player preference right?

So besides that I should always look for a dahl stock, and manufacturer grip?

Sights determine the field of zoom. Mostly yes, manufacturer grips tend to provide the most bonuses. Some people choose Jakobs or Torgue for more damage, Hyperion for accuracy, or Vladof for fire rate though.

I think that Sniper Rifles are an occasional exception. Dahl stocks behave like this:
Code:
GD_Weap_SniperRifles.Stock.SR_Stock_Dahl
PartType: EWeaponPartType.None
AttributeSlotUpgrades:

SlotName: AccuracyMin
GradeIncrease: -6
bActivateSlot: true

SlotName: AccuracyMax
GradeIncrease: 6
bActivateSlot: true

SlotName: AccuracyRegen
GradeIncrease: 4
bActivateSlot: true

SlotName: WeaponAccuracyImpulse
GradeIncrease: 4
bActivateSlot: true
Hyperion stocks behave like this:
Code:
GD_Weap_SniperRifles.Stock.SR_Stock_Hyperion
PartType: EWeaponPartType.None
AttributeSlotUpgrades:

SlotName: AccuracyMin
GradeIncrease: 8
bActivateSlot: true

SlotName: AccuracyMax
GradeIncrease: 0
bActivateSlot: false

SlotName: AccuracyRegen
GradeIncrease: 4
bActivateSlot: true

SlotName: WeaponAccuracyImpulse
GradeIncrease: 0
bActivateSlot: false
While Hyperion stocks don't offer any recoil reduction, they've got significantly better accuracy on the initial shot. For bolt-action sniper rifles, this can be preferable. I wouldn't use it for a Lyuda, but it might be better for a Buffalo Rifle or Elephant Gun.

And of course, Dahl isn't always an option. While Rocket Launchers use exhaust instead of stocks and Pistols lack stocks entirely, shotguns need to pick from a different manufacturer. Hyperion is a nice substitute.

Dahl stock for all but Shotguns/RL's.

Sight is a question of taste.

Matching grip is almost always the best option. (apart from RL's)

That should be it, but then again I'm very much drunk.

THe exception is Rocket Launchers. I can't get into tons of detail, but will list what the Gear Calculator says. In addition to FoV, each specific manufacturor's sight are:

Bandit - Accuracy Max
Maliwan - Rocket Speed
Tediore - Reload Speed
Torgue - Accuracy Min
Vladof - Fire Rate

Many people prefer Maliwan sights to hit moving targets easier, but I personally like the Reload speed bonus on my Norfleet
