Default gun maker program
i am working on a gun maker program using borderlands guns. It would be awsome if some people got me pictures of guns to use as refrences. i will put the program on the forum when im done.

!!!!!! Awesome. Do you know how to code procedurally?

Also, I just had an idea (maybe an old one). What if Gearbox released their Gun-Maker as part of an SDK, so that people could add their own custom manufacturers, parts, ect. Although I doubt it would benefit the consoles, they could have that user made content downloadable in a way similar to Bungie's maps

that is all well and good however there are already two programs posted up http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com...ad.php?t=71708 there though they are not borderlands related you can come up with some pretty nifty stuff

I doubt Gearbox would ever release their Gun-Maker program or any relevant source code for it.

I'm not entirely sure that is what jagabomb was talking about. The way I interpreted it, is that they are going to make a program which can procedurally generate guns. Meaning, you click Generate and it will make a gun that could potentially be in Borderlands. That or it allows you to do the step by step generation of a weapon (i.e. choose the base and build from there).

i believe there are some over at borderlandsguide.com but you must register to have acess to the gunopedia
