Anyway to kill intro splash screen commercials?

I'd like to just jump strait to the main menu start page with out having to watch the intro commercials each and every time.

Anyone know what pc files to delete?

Comment out the files in the ini,

My Documents\My Games\Borderlands\WillowGame\Config\WillowEngine.i ni

Find:
[FullScreenMovie]
StartupMovies=2K_logo
StartupMovies=Gearbox_logo
StartupMovies=NVidia
StartupMovies=Loading
SkippableMovies=2K_logo
SkippableMovies=Gearbox_logo
SkippableMovies=Attract
SkippableMovies=NVidia

Change To:
[FullScreenMovie]
;StartupMovies=2K_logo
;StartupMovies=Gearbox_logo
;StartupMovies=NVidia
;StartupMovies=Loading
;SkippableMovies=2K_logo
;SkippableMovies=Gearbox_logo
;SkippableMovies=Attract
;SkippableMovies=NVidia


If you cannot locate the file in that folder use the search function to locate and open with notepad to edit the INI file. This will skipp the first few things and get you to the menu much faster.

For me it only got rid of the Nvidia and the 2YK movies but it still runs the "Unreal Tech/Scaleform/Bink Video" screen and then the "GameSpy" screen.

Anyway to kill those two?

I have not read about a fix, nor have I figured out a way to skip that part of the intro. Sorry about that. If I learn of anything I will post it.

One way that would probably work is to backup the bink movies in here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\WillowGam e\Movies

and replace them with zero file placeholders.

I don't know what that'd do for consistency checks though.

yeah, that link pretty much said what was posted above for killing the splash screen intros.

It said use "//" at first to comment out the scripts, but that didnt remove the last two screens either.

The Y2k and Nvidia movies were .bik files in the game folder under >\Borderlands\WillowGame\Movies. You can get the same result by killing them there.

Where the heck would the "Unreal" & "GameSpy" screen files be?

They're hard coded. You're not going to be able to turn those off like the loading movies.
