borderlands on windows 7 (X64)

hello everyone i am trying to install the game borderlands on windows 7, after lookin at the games list in another forum , i should be able to install the game, but i am runnin into 2 errors on the install. when i use the instmsi3 installer it tells me i do not have enough storage to install this program, i have a ( 1TB HD partitioned into 320G C:\ ) and the other error is when i try the setup install and i get an error 1721 there is a problem with this installer package, i see that error, along with installin Nvida psyx, i also rebooted and tried the installs again, turned off all my AV's any ideas?

Run the install in admin mode, failing that run it in either Vista or WinXP compatibility mode.

none seemed to work, continuing on , lol

from my event logger .. Session "Circular Kernel Context Logger" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
