This is just one of a hand full of things I’ve played around with while teaching myself how to use this software. What I like about it is that it very much resembles the same types of creation & customization options as Cryengine (just not as intense of software)
When I started becoming even more interested in the development side of gaming and CGI a few years back Silo’s run down or “about this software” sold me on it. It wasn’t until later I noticed how much this program can have in common with the same software the dev’s use the build the never ending assortment of tech gaming we’ve all grown to enjoy.
For anyone interested in this software I’ll add the steam store address and the next time I do a project using it I’ll link some photos unless it’s a project I’m working on for someone else.
Additionally CryEngine software is available via steam as well though its payment function revolves around Subscription to the use of it’s product. That being said it’s only $8.33 per month for 6 months of use at the moment but I’d suggest reading CryEngines (About this Software, T&C, Important Note, EULA, Wwise and Wwise license information) since this is the same software currently being used by game designers like Cloud Imperium Gaming.
