Low heal enemies are the easiest to kill!

That’s pretty accurate. And you should only really be attacking if someone is trying to kill you or to help when someone’s low. A general rule is that a 1.5 will not beat 2 people. Remember to stun and slow and chuck a kunai sometimes. Also, @francisconros , you know what they did with Deande and transitioning? Do you think they should make his healing and reload flow better? I’ve been tagges but do not know why.
I know I’m the greatest Miko player that has ever lived, that might be it…

It’s because of epic’s question at the very end of his post directly above you (I think).

If that is why I’m being tagged, then I got the answer.

If Miko reloads, it’s impossible to immediately start healing again. Which is BS. Miko should be able to help with attacking too, not just healing. But because healing right after a reload is pretty hard, you will ALWAYS bring your allies in danger when you start attacking.
Homding the healing beam while you are reloading should make it so that you will automattically start healing after your reload. I shouldn’t have to press the button 50 times, and then in the end I clicked too many times so I activate and deavtivate the beam. Stupid, stupid reload animation. Srsly, the faster reload helix is ONLY useful because you can at least start healing faster again. ;p

I just mastered Miko literally an hour ago.

That EXACT situation was my only real complaint about playing Miko!

SO ANNOYING.

Trully mastering Miko isnt just about healing.
Its about being flexible and doing right thing in appropriate time.
Most Mikos i saw just stay behind and keep team at 100% full.
As much as this can help its useless if you dont fill your role.
When your only role is healer you are basically letting your team fight 4v5 and if opposing team focuses a bit-you are useless.

Everybody can just heal with Miko-trully mastering Miko is knowing which part of team you should support and how-when to stand in front of teammate to soak dmg, when to attack and probably most important-when to CC enemy.

I’m alwsys SUPER busy as Miko!

Stunning waves or taking out minions, rushing forward to throw a stun bomb, kunai’ing enemies while they are fleeing or distracted fighting my team mates, etc, you should never be doing only healing as Miko, absolutely right!

Being Miko is so much harder than most people say. Indeed, ALWAYS busy. Most of the time I barely have time to pick up shards.
In Incursion, slowing down entire waves is very important(In Incursion, I always go for the spore dropping spore. Stunning is less important in this game mode.). Attacking minions, because the poison damage(Especially after the helix that makes your poison spread) is very, very good and helpful. Jumping infront of a dying ally is extremely usefull as well. And then healing them up. So satisfying.

In Meltdown, I can’t believe that Miko isn’t tired after a match… Running between lanes all the damn time, keeping the entire team full and slowing minions/stunning enemies.

But sometimes you do really need to focus on healing. If ya got some squishies in the team that hit hard, you always need to keep an eye on them. And keeping an eye on your allies is pretty hard when you don’t see their health bars on the screen all the time. Gotta be looking around for those all the time too.

Daaaaamn I haven’t played Miko in so long. Because of this topic I really feel like playing as that shroom again. (And I don’t even know what this topic is about. I only read the reply in which I got tagged. XD)

What are you skilled Miko users thoughts on pulling out of a fight to retreat and teleport?

Should you ever do so and if so when is it ok to do so?

Or should you just try to dodge and stay alive long enough in the heat of Combat to get your L1 back or for nearby allies to help uour Heal Thyself heal you as you heal someone else?

@deemsss123

Yesh it took me a bit to get used to but once Miko “clicked” for me I was all like “Holy s**t this sentient fungal colony hive thing is freaking amazing!”

So you take Heal Thyself? Good.
Then, no. Never teleport back to base. Try to stay behind a bit, dodge attacks, throw bombs, pick up shards. Stay close to the fight untill your bio comes back. Use it and heal the closest thing you can find, even minions are okay for this.

Pulling out of a fight is always okay though. Staying alive as Miko is extremely important.

Yeah, this is exactly what I thought. It makes them a nuisance to try to play multiple roles

Yeah, just hang back a bit. If you have to, run to the supply station for a small boost then run back in. Do you choose Sporeshock or Trail?

I’m sorry, but what they did to Deande? And what you mean about reload flow?

Sorry, english is not my native language, maybe I have some issues to understand some things.

I have some issues using the healing beam sometimes. I have to press 2, 3 or 4 more times the button to start healing. It’s not so frequent, but when it happens, me and my team have trouble. I’m not sure if it just happens when I just reloaded.

It’s the worst after reloading, but their beam is annoying to activate after about every animation BUT Biosynthesis. When you attack and the use it, most of the time you have to click it atleast twoce to make it work.
Srsly, their beam needs fixing.

Yea, that really need to be fixed. Really, really annoying.

It’s literally the only thing that is wrong with Miko. It makes playing them freaking hard.

Yep. Miko is awesome, even with that issue. One of the most badasses design.
