A few random questions I would like answered and didn’t think they warranted their own post.

  1. Zer0’s Precision: does it drastically effect the accuracy of shotguns like the coach gun or quad?

  2. Maya’s Flicker: is it a direct % increase to any equipped weapons?

  3. Jakob’s Allegiance Relic: is recoil/acc. Recovery the only combination you can get?

  4. Is there any point using a tediore shotgun other than the omen?

Last one is more subjective I know lol

No, it’s a multiplicative increase in the chance to apply a status effect - see the example calculation at http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Flicker

I believe it’s 2 out of Accuracy Recovery, Magazine Size, Recoil Reduction ([GUIDE] To BL2 Allegiance)

The one that’s in your inventory when you don’t have an Omen.

Only worth it at 10/5 - I’ve tested this a lot

Chuck and kkiller like the Shotgun Supreme ( Torgue barrel ) , but the Omen / Blockhead are only Tediores I use.

Just ran southpaw with a Doc’s quad using Jakob’s allegiance relic and 10/5 and it makes headshots so consistent

I have a corrosive shotgun supreme but my juicy ravager feels a lot better even against loaders :confused:

I don’t even bother speccing it anymore. I have that weird feeling when I equip the Legendary Siren com and seeing that boosted skill in the tree without having any points in it, but Flicker just doesn’t seem to do a lot. I used to spec it because I thought it would increase the slag chance of Scorn, but people have runs tests on that and it does jack squat for Scorn.

Blockhead! I like that shotty a lot. :slight_smile:

Only reason I wanted to know lol

Was my favourite shotty till I got the omen and noticed it had almost double damage and I just lost interest

Why not just go ahead and ask if there’s a point using any other gun than the Norfleet while you’re at it? I mean… It blows up everything after all.

Omen doesn’t trivialise the game anywhere near as much as the Norfleet does so that’s irrelevant

I like the Deliverance, the Octo, the aforementioned Blockhead and Shotgun Supreme. Is there a point? Probably just not trying to farm the dragons if the thought of soloing raids makes you nervous, which happens to be my problem. :sweat_smile:

I think most people struggle to solo the dragons reliably, me included lol it’s meant to be a group thing though so I can’t complain

I don’t really like it. But I realize now that there are a very few situations where it’s better than a Jakobs Quad.

The Blockhead is a good alternative anywhere you don’t want to get close to flesh enemies.

For it to work at op8. Just seems to me that the omen is the best tediore shotty and was curious as to what others thought

I think it was @Jefe or @VaultHunter101 or one of the forum regulars who tested Flicker recently and determined it doesn’t do anything so don’t bother throwing points into it anymore.

Like others above, I like Octo, Deliverance, and Blockhead, but I only use the Blockhead at OP8 whereas the other two I don’t feel hit hard enough at that level. As a Maya player, Blockhead and CR are a great combo.

Ye I like the blockhead, with zero it’s harder to know if a shotty is good because his skills do a lot of the damage imo and can make mediocre guns perform beyond usual levels

With Zer0 in particular any high damage “burst” gun will do amazing things.

Ye I’ve come to realise that, finding it hard to go back to Axton after playing for Zer0 for a while now
