Not once have I ever picked or needed heal thyself.
Spreading biosynthesis is farr better IMO. You can give pretty intense AOE healing while continuing to pump out kunai, slows, whatever, AND it makes his biosynthesis healing beam rate faster (a target in range for the beam is being healed by a pumped up healing beam AND biosynthesis AOE). And helps it escort minion waves.
The reload speed is also great… 15% cooldown is good, don’t get me wrong, but very rarely do I need to give that much healing that I wish I had biosynthesis more often.
In either case they are nowhere NEAR the worst helixes in the game. Boldur’s axe ricochet would like a stern word about this.
El Dragón’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th helix options. I’ve always picked Dragon Splash, Deafening Applause, and Flailing Fists, without any real consideration for the other options. Especially the 3rd.
Does anyone take Power Fists over Deafening Applause?
Sure, but in my experiences with Miko I pretty much never need to heal myself beyond what biosynthesis (or the ult, later!) already does for me… when I’m bouncing around like a lunatic with sprint speed gear, spreading poisonous love everywhere with my innate eldrid regen ticking over nicely… I don’t need a lot of self-healing.
Could just be the matches I play in, but I legit have never thought to myself ‘damn, I wish I could heal myself more’. Admittedly this may have changed since I haven’t played Miko since the recent patch.
haha yeah, because it’s a great idea to be in melee range of enemies while at critical health.

As much as I hate to say anything nice about Toby, it’s nice when you’re up against a melee heavy team to have a self destruct. Lets 'em all know, "Yeah… you can take me out… BUT I’M TAKING YOU DOWN WITH ME MOTHERF***ER!!!
Incidentally, he carved that on Berg’s power core. Dude’s got issues.
Now if we’re talkin’ bad helix choices, that level 7 Multiloader… ugh…
Some very good mentions; touching eulogies for some.
S&A Surprise party; We never expected it, and surprised we were, at how awful of a helix you turned out to be. Party Hardy in the realm of mediocrity.
Boldur’s Pinballer: Your existence is an enigma; a mutation leagues and bounds more awful than the others. You may be gone into obscurity and…well…good riddance
Cool, but no helix seems to bee 100% useless because it’s still opinion. Heal thyself let’s me be in the same fight as my allies, and be their human shield… (Mushroom shield…) while I heal them, just to hide back behind them again but still both alive.
That one is actually useful when escaping. You cuz normally if they break one, they have a window to shoot you. They have to break two before they can hit you because they have to go through both sides. Plus, all his level ones kinda suck…

Brawler’s Boon for Attikus.
“Cool, 15% life steal! What other option is there? 60% damage on repeated melee strikes. Never mind then…”
Feint and Snake Eyes for Pendles.
Why would you want to be propelled backwards while using smoke bomb, over 25% backstab damage on injection? Snake eyes just seems completely useless…
The Level 5 Marquis options that aren’t Efficiency expert
Shield Pen and Base Damage, rather than proccing every second shot don’t seem like viable options
Rath: Swordsman’s Salve (GREATLY increases lifesteal from melee attacks, but removes it from skills. still as of now I have found no use for it)
El Dragon: the helix that makes him turn around if you hit a wall/cancel it.
Ghalt: Barrier, Sadly I never had him unlocked before slugs went away, and now I just don’t really see the point of using Barrier over Pellet Party unless your going for a more tank/support focus.
Orendi: +15% damage on nullify…I mean really…
Pendles: Everything in his left tree (besides coiled spring, Relentless strikes, and mamba’s bite) I just find most of the things in his left tree not as good as his right tree.
Kleese: Shocking twist, I prefer to save the Mortars for combat rather than heal with them
Montana: Push it Push it Push it and cold blooded (the aoe knock up on the ole one two is just too good to pass up, and Hot blooded just gives more hp regen.
Lvl2 Mutation Invigorating Pounce = +30% Life Steal
Lvl3 Left Brawler’s Boon = +15% Life Steal
Total: 60% Life Steal when you Pounce->Hedronic Arc->Punch
Add the fact that Attikus hits like a truck, you’ll destroy waves of minions with ease & even potentially team-wipe an unsuspecting group of enemies. Don’t get me wrong, Tenacity’s great, but it’s far from useless.
