Haven’t read all the replies, but permanent major character deaths are not unheard of in Gearbox games.

But I can’t recall it ever happening in a DLC…

Haha poor Roland. I never liked him anyways. But if they’re introduced in that DLC does it count? It was said by I think Jythri at some point recently that the Operations are different because they’re spread out, while others are right before the Heliophage. He said that they’re their own independent stories, which leads me even further to believe that Aria’s wings will be clipped
