A talk about Star Wars

I’m hoping the other two spinoffs are called Rogue Two and Rogue Three :^)

Rogue Two: Electric Boogaloo
Rogue Three: confirmed

HOLY ■■■■■■■ ■■■■ THE HYPE IS REAL.

Thats just… astonishing.

Whoa, that it impressive. I have no clue how it works, but I want one.

I also love it when people complain about CGI, then it turns out to actually be real.

People will allways complain.

CGI can be neat if done right.

The prequels looked good but they’re a little over done. If it were just the droids and some creatures that’d be fine.

Prequels get a bad rep, but I like the Pod Racing from episode 1, everything else was bad.
I like all of the Obi Wan parts in Episode 2 and the entire second half of the movie when it stops being a romantic-drama.
I think Episode 3 finally got the pacing right out of the 3 prequels.

CG or practical effects, don’t really care as long as it’s done well and not like Amazing Spider-Man 2, which I liked that movie it just looked like a damn cartoon in places.

The tatooine parts of TPS are on my “worst parts of the movie” list. Honestly, the whole sequence is incredibly contrived, maybe moreso than the plan to rescue han in jedi. It gets double bad points for the fact that a ■■■■■■■ jedi master is the one who came up with the plan and what parts aren’t qui gon being ■■■■■■■ stupid include that little shitstain they got to play anakin. And then the podrace happens, and takes for goddamn ever.

Side note, this is a rant about the prequel movie I like the most, because unlike the latter two, they occasionally had a set or two that they went to, and not a green screen.

No love for the Duel of the Fates? That’s one of the best segments in the whole prequel trilogy.

But Pod Racing made this possible ;-;

I know I’m late but I’m siding with Twister on this one… isn’t it Boba Fett’s job to train one of the kids? If I remember correctly, it’s the daughter. And the trailer made me giddy, I want to see more though. And Train, speculation and hate are all people do nowadays with whatever they throw at you. Could be something you like, there is always going to be that one ■■■■■■■ ■■■■■ in the room saying, “I don’t like it.” It’s just human nature nowadays, I know back in our day we were happy with whatever. Did we care there was only really one female Thundercat? No, the show was awesome, we didn’t pick at ■■■■. That’s what bugs me about today.

The first rule of expanded universe anything is that you do not give credit to someone for someone smarter churching up their stupid idea.

Pod racer was an amazing game, but I’d rather thank the Lucas Studios gaming division for it rather than anyone involved with EP1, much in the same way that there is a lot of really good clone lit out there, despite it being introduced in the movies. God, the clone lit addresses everything you thought was stupid about clones anywhere else…

Cheetarah, giving kids confusing boners since 1986.

Harley Quinn was more of my speed.

But that’s besides the topic.

After watching Once Were Warriors I can’t look at Clone Troopers again without seeing an angry New Zealand man.

IIRC he is officially free from it, either by the books which were/are deemed as cannon by Lucas or by Lucas saying he was considering adding a scene where Boba is vomited up on the sand but he ultimately opted not to due to it not actually furthering the main plot.

BEST N64 EVER!!!

I have that game on the Dreamcast. Good fun.

So…is nobody going to mention Battlefront here? I mean, it’s been about 8 1/2 years since Battlefront 2 and the trailer for the new one shows a pretty nice Endor battle.

There’s nothing to mention?
We have no gameplay.

At least we have details, regarding it.

No prequel stuff
Doesn’t look like there will be space
20v20
No campaign, but co-op missions
Split screen
First to third person
Hero/villain system implemented
4 major planets confirmed

I’m curious what others thing regarding that. I’m not particularly a fan of no space or campaign, but hopefully whenever we do get to see gameplay it’ll be worth it. Considering Battlefront 2 has a (surprisingly well done) campaign and space battles, and it’s on Steam for $10 it’ll be hard to justify neither of those for $60 without amazing gameplay.
