Isic has his charge ability that can get him up there.
If ISIC uses his charge ability and targets the jump pad while itās activated heāll reach it before it turns off.
what if your playing buy your self. one of me stands on the plate and the other me jumps.
theres only one me. how did you people fix this?
I didnāt play The Voidās Edge solo but I imagine there would be no plates in that scenario.
He might be able to use his Plasma Dash to get up as well, he can reach some areas that most others canāt using that ability.
Sorry, I meant to say Plasma Dash, but it looks like heās charging forward so I mixed words. My bad lol.
Lots of player are heavily underestimating the height that characters can reach and the distance they can cover horizontally as well to reach normally unreachable places.
Pretty sure several other characters like phoebe can reach that place as well without the jump pad. If needed use that ledge that goes pretty close to the target balcony, and jump toward the balcony before warping in. Same with ISIC if needed, he CAN reach it.
Some characters can also combine their various abilities to reach very high in the sky. Deande can definitely jump the distance without the jumppad if this is needed. Mellka may be able to do it as well with the right helix choices, would need testing though. Add to that characters like Benedict and Caldarius, and thereās often at least one character that can go up without it if some peoples are being too selfish.
But yeah, the best would be to have players stopping being selfish.
In story campaign, the number of activation plate varies depending of how many players there is in the party. That famous place weāre talking about varies from 0 to 3 activation plate for example, and the place right afterwards to have the boss appear varies from 1 to 5.
Hmm, I mained Deande in PvP but only used her once in PvE, didnāt think to try this with anyone beyond Cal and Ben. I knew ISIC could do it, he can get anywhere, didnāt even consider Phoebe despite using her to counter Marquis in PvP and reaching his perch from below lol.
There is a plate in solo. You just have to stand on it and it stays active. Unfortunately doesnāt work the same for multiplayer.
I found the opposite happened when I was playing. People seemed hesitant to go up there. Perhaps they were afraid of messing up. When I I was in the beta playing as Ambra I would stick a sunspot up there to help the volunteer if they need it. I soloād the section as Miko but I had to take my time. For some reason the groups Iāve been with donāt stay on the plates long enough to send up a second person. Perhaps Iāll have to suggest it next time.
Iāll have to try out Benedict on that mission to help out. He would do a pretty good job taking the turret out and even use boomsday to avoid taking too much damage.
If I take one thing away from this thread itās that some characters are more agile than I expected. Iāll have to try ISIC and learn about his dashing.
