So, I posted last night and I made a mistake, I think we as a community need to help Gearbox expand the fan base. Most of the veteran players have a crew they run with and if they do jump in with randos they most likely do what I myself am guilty of as well, and that is if there are low levels they back out a research. This is killing this great game. The problem at present is that if you don’t do it, we know the outcome. You get spanked by the team that did back out till they found a better group, or the 5 stacked team. So unless everyone starts this trend of accepting you will not always have 5 100’s it’s not going to work. Anyone have any thoughts?
Damned if we do, damned if we don’t!
People re-queue when they do not have full 100s? But there is nothing like the challenge of having some low-levels to carry! Also, it is a great opportunity to try to get to know them, act friendly and be of assistance if they so require it. After all, we do want our community to flourish with friendly people, right?
So that is why, new people, Penk has your back!
And if you happen to get on a team with me and you feel like you will not perform well, just tell me that and try your very best!
I really don’t like playing with or against people lower than 30 or so. Try to calmly point out things, get ignored. Try to not so calmly point out things, end up frustrated. People don’t like constructive criticism
some of the best matches were with sub 10 people with mics, once I pointed a few things out they worked well with me, so low levels aren’t all bad!
lvl 30 can mean that the guys just run campaign and does not know to play PVP.
Also im lvl 92 atm and i made HUUGE mistakes during chaos matches (i have never-ever won meltdown match and i do not like that game mode)
@Yangmono-people are idiots sometime.
Im glad i had 2 friends i play with from start.
Im glad they both know that RNG is RNG and lower the playerbase, tougher the opponents.
But i can tell you one thing-fight.
Fight and remember glorious song: Crush your enemies see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women!
And, when you lvl up, remmember that Conan didnt fight weakklings.
Also…try to find people that dont give a ■■■■ and like to talk-that makes every game awesome
BTW-first win of the day gives you only 10% more credits.
Having that in mind I (as kinda experienced) support practice of surrendering if oposing team is really weaker than us-this is not smtg i invented, i saw this when facing 5x100 versus us that surrendered after destroying our sentry in under 5min.
I feel that you’re over estimating how many people do that.
this is why i stick around with low levels. Honestly, after playing about 500 missions and 200 odd PVP games things just start to get stale. having new players who don’t know what they are doing provides a new level of difficulty for me (I only play advanced), and it’s even better in the hardcore spotlight when everyone else dies and i have to play against all those extra enemies. And they have to sit there and watch. As I haul ass and roast noobs.
But I do also like to take the time to help people. Example: this one game it was just me and a MIko. He was level 11 and had the default skin. He woudln’t heal me either.
So I hopped on the mic and gave him some pro tips. Then he finally healed me and we finished the mission and got a lovely sh!ty green as usual for the final boss. Haza!
Anyway, thats my story on the time I helped someone. Everyone else share yours.
You’d be surprised at how often it happens, and I’m a lvl 100 with 10 mastered characters and for awhile I couldn’t stomach rando pvp matches. So I would reque if they weren’t lvl 50. Strictly pvp btw, story is a different… Well story.
I’m maxed cp and have a crew of 5 that stomp teams. If they aren’t around though that’s when I’ve found getting thrown into low lvl matches so frustrating! I posted this because I realized I’m part of the problem I’m referring to, it is mind melting when your team doesn’t know what’s happening around them and just feed the other team the whole match. But, like I said I think that has to be changed.
I just wanted to say that I’ve never been good at talking to new players. Too much rage, so I mute myself
but I also will not bail out of a match, even against a five man premade. Ever. Surrender? Sometimes. But I will face any lobby and try to help any nooblets see how characters are supposed to be played
nice word
They’re like little babies that we raise and they’re noobs. Nooblets
