After a year, we still don't have endgame (and a balanced base game)

100% agree. There are so many good examples of things to implement in a modern day looter, and it feels like they are stuck in 2009. The fact that you can’t even re-roll Anointments is mind boggling to me. Re-rolling items is Looter 101 stuff.

Jan’19-Mar’20 were best 3 months of BL3 (parts of April prior to M2.0)and the only time I got/put in decent endgame time. Even Moze/Fl4k mains were happy with balance, a lot of weapons/shields/builds worked in neat and weird ways, not specific weapons needed at all. Double projectile was a thing, but it made Zane sweat even with his barrier. It just needed a tweak to be a little harder(like M5?), not completely revamped into trash we didn’t ask for.

Always had that feeling since release and we have seen it predicted many times, but PAX made it official:

They even worked on splitscreen for next gen but not current gen?

Yes, every time a Mayhem discussion emerges, I always say that we just needed an M5 (aka, anti-Moxsy), and that was all.

actually the splitscreen thing will also be for current gen consoles.

Also. I just want traditional Raid Bosses. I miss Vermi and Terra

But will it run decent,… or are we the testers?

Man, remembering the potential bl3 had is sad, I remember how everybody wanted lucian’s call, and how it was actually hard (and rewarding) to get some specific guns, I was so happy when I got my first Lyuda, how the predatory lending was a cool concept and useful gun. Steam players will never know how near replacing bl2 this game was.

I can guarantee that it won’t solve any of the major issues. lol
Doubt they’ll be any better for the PS5 and xbox

Doubt it- their focus is on Godfall right now. If it does well I honestly don’t see them hurrying to make the next BL, especially if their new game mode for their next DLC is some way to make it a live service model like GTA Online…

But how else are they expected to keep us going? Design raids with mechanics? Improve on the proving grounds? Incentivize existing content like the Guardian takedown by adding a reward that allows us access to the Eridian space magic to reroll one aspect of a weapon? Nah that is too much effort and doesn’t make money. Better to go hey hey you want item x (let’s say a Monarch) and only care about the element (fire) well go kill Kilavolt 1000 times. Oh only got 9 drops and none of them were fire well try again tomorrow. I keep waiting for that last bit to be replaced with but for only $4.99…

Look on the bright side, if you just pay for another season pass and some more DLC they may actually fix the game by the end of next year.

Or they may just promise to fix it right after you’ve paid for Season 3.

Well Gearbox isn’t making Godfall (thankfully), they’re just the publisher.

Imo anointment itself should be abandoned and actual focus needs to be put on the gun to balance it.

they’ll just hit us with a new lvl increase and call it end game…

the increases are what had me stop playing… played DLC 3 quit and came back for DLC 4…

farmed new level weapons pretty quickly and/or traded for them…

the game was pretty bad from the getgo, and hasn’t realy improved much… it’s still boring AF after a few hours

Oh hey am I the only one that’s pissed off that there’s still a giant blank unused spot on pandora? I thought maybe the nursery rhyme crap would be part of it, but no of course not. Give us more money for stuff nobody wants instead. I knew it would be crap like this when they made more dlc for part 2 as 3 was coming out. They spent countless hours on the commander lilith stuff and didn’t finish the base game on 3! I pre-ordered every borderlands but I think I’m done with gearbox now. Pre-sequel with it’s only for australia humor and now the way they halfassed 3, I’m done giving them money.
