I know in order for a healer to effectively function they need a self heal but that should function like Reyna’s. It should require healing another teammate in order to self heal. That would put a stop to this whole Rambo Medics shenanigans.
If Alani is so OP how is it that as Mikey I can kill the Guardians 20 times faster?
With the Space Laser I get them out in about 15 seconds.

Actually I don’t really do the pvp thing or group steam roll I play with family. And close friends or solo so why people go omg op need to Nerf her I don’t go abuse her to make others yell so I suppose I don’t experience the hype train of God mode with her in pvp. So if pvp gave incentive for looting up I’d understand. But with all characters unlocked and almost capped. Guess i found her enjoyable compared to rest not because of her whatever is to strong but her uniqueness that’s all.
Are you taking about Oscar Mike? Because if you are he is an attacker/pusher. Nor can he heal himself.
Also, Alani does not need two minutes to kill someone. Browse some of the Alani forums, you will see videos that show otherwise.

alani doesnt scale damage well late game. She scales well with her bubble…But its a slow cc…If you get hit by it while under no other adverse affects…you deserve the damage your destroyed for. Her tidal pool rarely hits for near full damage capabilities unless you willingly stand in it and her ult is low damage…Her health just got nerfed 33 percent…She gets to keep her dps…end of story.
Yup, kind of sucks that PvP and PvE are married.
I couldn’t care less how OP someone is in PvE but that PvP she is a complete pain in the buttox.

I maxed Alani about a week ago, have used her to get Gold on every Story mode advanced.
I’m not buying all this OP talk about her because I am Master of Mike and Deande and do way more damage with both.

All of this has NOTHING to do with story mode.
This is all about PvP.
You can straight up go old school doom God mode and i wouldn’t care. Have fun. It’s your personal adventure.
It’s her doing all that stuff to real players that’s causing the hoopla. Look at it with that in mind.

Yes and this is unfortunately the problem of trying to have both game modes. Unless you just try to make a CoD like story mode just to give the game a background and character motivations you end up with this mess.
It happens in Destiny all of the time. In all honesty I’m a bit surprised people are playing through the story more than what it takes to satisfy some lore requirements. I just found the story mode frustrating .
Different strokes for different folks though.
You play story mode for easy experience, credits, and certain gear pieces for specific builds.
That may be the stupidest arguement someone could have made. The game lists her as a support Mike is an attacker you also linked his ultimate with burst dps helix he better have a quicker TTK. She does have a decent burst and trust me if you are hallways decent that bubble is a death sentence.

Yea, that grind still sucks though. I got this for the PvP. It’s the same for the people that only play PvE. Being forced to play other game modes just to get stuff turns into a drag
Wasn’t name calling just pointing out a terrible argument. Apples to apples and the like.
Since Alani has come out, I’ve played probably ~30 Incursion games. She’s been in all of them save for maybe one or two.
If she’s played by somebody who knows what they are doing, she’s nearly impossible to kill and she will constantly be in the top 2 or 3 of healing AND damage…if not number 1 in both outright. Even as Marquis, if she has minion waves in front of her, I can unload an entire clip on her and her healing will easily keep her above 1/2 health. I’ve pinged her in the head four times in a row and she was still easily able to outheal it.
If she’s played by somebody who doesn’t know what they are doing, she’ll still maybe only die a handful of times…almost entirely due to user error.
She’s gotta be fixed…it literally takes most, if not all, the team to take her down.
Well, some of us play story and PvE because that’s what we enjoy most… And though I want her to be balanced for all, I don’t think that she should be seriously compromised in story mode for the sake of PvP (the health change has not done this so far). I think Battleborn was ambitious in providing different modes and to me, they’re both valuable, and balanced characters are crucial for both.
