I haven’t played even 1 match with Alani because she keeps getting picked by others faster than I can. No biggie.

Tested her in a private match againts bots. I get my ass handed pretty easily. Imagine those are BOTS not players and I still get my ass whooped. Her healing is not as good as i thought it would. I kept changing gears to test. One thing i definitely know you don’t need cooldown gears on her. Her ability to knockback and knock up + bubble is awesome.

The only reason she has survivability is she can heal herself (again which is not a lot) and she can push away enemies or ride her waves. Overpowered? I don’t think so. At least not yet

I’ve gone 9 and 0 as Reyna, does that maker her overpowered? No, k/ds have nothing to do with this. It’s her CC abilities that are the real problem.

Make us take reduced damage from Alani while we’re stuck in the bubble, and nerf her max health a bit. She’ll be fine after that.

For sure. I can see bubble damage needing to be lowered a bit, maybe -10% and her max health down as well. But, then there’s gear. If the gear brings it back up, what’s actually OP then? Her or the gear?

I think Alani cool down helix option is broken. Other then that i have no real complaints about the character.

this ■■■■■ retarded. teh water damage is too much the tick rate and the amount. it kills a sentry in like 4 seconds with ppl shooting at it. not to mention the stun/slow bull… jeez thats just boring. it ruins the match.

I’m a very good Miko =) that’s why I can 1v1 her. Maybe not 100% of the time but I do it fairly often.

I just played a few more hours and and I’m still seeing the same results Alani gets top kills top damage on both teams or second place the majority of the time.

I think the real issue is her aoe dmg. That would explain the high damage and high kill count overall while not being so tough 1v1. If she is doing constant AoE dmg then she increases her likely hood of getting the kill.

This might not be a real issue if Player points didn’t determine a tie or weren’t scored the way it is now.

Alani is an offensive healer, unlike Miko who is a defensive healer.

Alani is a bit OP. I didn’t realize until I went against her a few times. One game she got me in the bubble and I went from full health to dead in seconds. I thought I was sniped til I saw it was only Alani and a bot that hit me. Happened 3 times in that match.

She is going to be adjusted thats for sure. She is too viable in many roles to be a support.
She can tank, dps, and heal with a bonus on cc, if you have another good support she can work in god mode.
All the people saying that she isn’t good is because they haven’t played her, don’t know how to play her or just lying to avoid the nerf.
With dmg gear and the dmg helix she can come close in numbers to any other dps and outdmg others supports by at least 30/50k

…I don’t understand why everyone is moaning about this.
On any advanced PvE game I can do more damage as Deande and Thorn.
I’ve got Gold on Helio with Alani, Thorn and Deande, it was much harder with Alani.

…They heal themselves. Thorn is a pretty good self healer.
On Helio I do much better at dishing it out and staying alive as Deande.

yeah i was just in a long almost timer match where alani carried another team. 11-1, top heals, top score(all kills and heals) and the guy wasnt using gear. maybe wisecarver can chime in and tell us about how this doesnt affect him.

alani - just add water carry tool

Devs if you’re reading this, can you go ahead and tune alani now, you know as the last of the players has just quit. she can now farm computer opponents on a desolate hole that used to be the best game in ages.
