This is just amazing!!! Hellooooo Benedict hehehe.
Awesome! But could anyone tell me if there’s any differences between PC and console? I doubt it because it mentions PC in the console notes, but just checking.
@JoeKGBX: Another attikus question: If you take the aftershock helix for the Hedronic Arc, does it increase the wound debuff time to 6 seconds? Also, if you take the hedronic chain helix, does the wound debuff chain to the nearby enemies?
I feel a little bit better about Toby’s ult now, taking some much needed PTO this week to enjoy a 5 day weekend of embracing my inner couch potato and grind out the last few CR for my rogues! fingers crossed for Pendles Thursday!!
Keep in mind folks that there is still a battleplan Thursday and there could be not downloaded content changes as well. Something I just realized
Functionality wise, reporting features are accessible through the scoreboard. Open scoreboard, find player, report player – pretty simple.
Results wise, we’ll obviously be getting the data on our side for review. This will essentially involve a regular meeting in which we’ll go through the data and determine which reports seem legit and need to be followed up on.
That’s a basic overview of the process. It’s important to note that we will be watching these reports closely and taking action where necessary.
Who all should be reported? Quitters, afk-ers, cheaters?
And jythri had mentioned benefits for not quitting previously. Is that what the no credit unless you finish a match part is?
The title says Thursday, July 24th. Do they (presumably) mean Thursday, July 21st?
Question/Clarification: Much of the healing gear seems to require an ‘active’ heal for the legendary effect to show up. What this means from what I can tell is that either the ally must have health damage or you must be a Miko or Alani (Ambra can, with a helix option as well) so that you can target full health allies with your heal. Is this actually the case? And if it is, is this the intended effect? My sunspots want to help the team too!
As another Support fan, I totally hear you talking - but notice, Reyna’s health didn’t get touched. I don’t think this is a trendline bonk to Supports’ health - I think it’s a specific knockdown to Miko, who (from the rumblings I hear here and moreso on Reddit) was considered OP in PvP due to her/his facility with both DPS and focused healing. I think the GBX plan is to force Miko to really be someone’s pocket buffbot with the occasional ability to fight out of a bad situation - rather than a surprisingly tough mini-DPS (with the right gear) who can also put substantial healing on the field. (I mean, did you ever fight a Miko with Vyn’s? It’s rough. Notice Vyn’s also got a knockdown.)
I’m sure you’ll make the counterpoint of Miko’s ginormous crit hurtbox, and believe me, I respect it. I still think GBX is going by the amount of damage/kills they were seeing fall to Mikos in PvP, and I trust that this is a move in approximately the right direction. Besides which, if Miko suddenly falls through the floor on scoring and player choice, s/he will certainly get retuned again.
Just my (rather more than) 2c.
@JoeKGBX. The title still says Thursday, July 24th. Also, the actual patch notes say July 20th (Wednesday).
Please clarify and fix.
I was thinking of Alani and Miko as a potential trend. Kleese, otoh, got much too large of a buff, so I suppose trend is really the wrong word. “Approach” would be better.
I am TERRIFIED of the new Kleese. Terrified I tell you.
Yeah, he rocks a huge hurtbox, but now he’s got a huge health pool to go with it… and players with his lore legi will have wicked sustain if they’re running with a mate. Scary stuff!
I guess the only thing that surprises me on re-reading, is that Vyn’s got a takedown (no more stuns), but Boots of the Brute didn’t get touched. Melee DPSs using Boots are going to be even more brutal on the battlefield now. Pheebs incoming…
While reducing the melee spam is nice, still should address how incredibly strong it is on some characters? Just one push is all it takes for some to send you flying
@JoeKGBX maybe you should do something about the various date you’re giving for the same thing? ^^"
The title of this thread say July 24th (which isn’t a thursday but a Sunday), in the thread you’re saying 21st (which I suppose is the correct date ), but if I go to the linked PC notes, it says July 20th, so 3 different dates >_<
Nice notes…
but what the hell is a " Paradigm Shift’■■■■ detection "
Edit: haha… the forums filter removed the word… now i know i didnt missread it since i copy&pasted it
@JoeKGBX So what happens to a lore challenge if it is currently below the threshold for being complete, but will be above the completion threshold after the update? Is it automatically completed, or will I have to run a game first to get it to recognize completion status?
Wow… Really nice patch Looks like i’ll have some lore legendaries unlocked as soon as the update will be live (6 if i’m right)
The balance looks great.
Looks like the fact that we can cancel Deande’s ultimate with a quick melee when she charge it, isn’t fix… Am I right @JoeKGBX ?
It’s a bit broken that a “skill” without any CD that we can spam can cancel an ultimate, same if an ally push the enemy whom is catch by her ult.
Not sure if the recovery time after her ult still need to be removed btw, as 35% more damage is a huge buff if you can catch a single enemy
Was expecting a nerf about Boots of the Brute to something like 3sec slow each 6sec because actually it’s a perma slow, which shouldn’t exist
