Any chance fixing / updating collision?

I’ve been playing the game for a while now and I must say the collision in the game is quite terrible. It’s sticky at times and get stuck in small corners that intuitively shouldn’t get stuck in, and easily should slide past it, fluidly. I’ve been comparing Overwatch’s collision with the environment and characters, and it’s very amazingly fluid. You do not get stuck behind giant and small friendly character while trying to flee enemies, which in Battleborn most of the time you end up dying because of this. Which, in my opinion, can be very game-breaking. I can’t stand horrible collision, and it should be designed as part of the gameplay, and not set to standard.

What does everyone else think? Anyone have an issue with this as well?

And if there’s another topic the same as this, I do apologise! But It’s the main issue I’m having in this game and it’s ruining my experience, which I think Battleborn as a tonne of potential without these minor factors.

There is also a problem with falling on top of characters - you jump back up instead of sliding down which makes it possible to juggle people on top of your head. It’s ridiculous and works as a form of CC since quick melee doesn’t always work to get you back down and you can’t properly control your movement. Especially when you have multiple characters juggling you.

It definitely contributes to the overall clumsy / chunky feeling of the gameplay (along with the frame rate on consoles). It was also mentioned in some of the reviews for the game when it first came out. So it’s not just you. It’s something you get used to over time.

I had 100 or so before I mostly stopped. Amazing how good some other aspects of this game are that make us overlook something fundamental like basic gameplay feel. The progression system is unmatched, and something I wish other games would follow/copy.

Ah yes! I totally forgot about that. I jumped on top of a Sentry once and it was quite ridiculous. Also got blocked by a sentry trying to escape haha. Always imagined their shields didnt have collision, but somehow they do

Damn  I really wish they’d fix it. It’s really important to gameplay. Especially in bottleneck situations like on the Echelon map, you just can’t get away quick enough if you have a friendly blocking you… totally sucks.

I do like the progression system as well! The game is fun but it does seem to have more downs than up, in my opinion. This game could have been miles better if just a little more attention was paid to it.

The collision juggling is practically the mechanic behind spin to win.
