Double downer looks good but what about the others? Melter Masher, Digby’s Tube, Brad luck, Varlope, Melt Facer, All-in? Anything worth keeping? Always like to ask because lots of times I get rid of something because I didn’t really understand how to use it.
I got Digbys Tube last night and like it. Its a cryo AR that plays saxophone notes as you fire. Pretty cool. I can’t give an honest assessment of it’s viability. I am using a Silent Driver based Amara in M3 and most guns she uses are melting everything. I want to see how my Zane does with it.
But I will always keep one just for the fun factor
From what I’ve seen, most of it is worth keeping or at least trying out. If you are desperate for space and need to get rid of a few I think the Melt Facer isn’t particularily great or interesting.
Ones I’d suggest you keep by all means are the Melter Masher (this thing is insanely good against loaders or armoured enemies in general) and Digby’s Tube, both of which I had a lot of fun with. Didn’t really get to test the Brad luck and the All-In but they don’t seem to be half-bad. The Varlope probably depends on the character. I can see it be pretty good on Moze with all the splash buffs she has, for most other characters it’s probably more of an entertaining novelty weapon.
not a mission, but the Torgue collectible (destory-able?) final reward is amazing.
the melt facer’s secret benefit seems to be freezing enemies? i had nothing else that could have caused it, maybe only to yellow health bar enemies? idk didn’t try it on normal enemies, definitely froze the loader bots tho. and the robo melter masher is awesome for anyone that likes Jakobs and wants to deal corrosive dmg.
