I’ve gotten a majority of mine with Toby actually.
If you can get into an unexpected position while the enemy attention is elsewhere it really doesn’t matter that you have a big shield there, noone sees it.
The other benefit is you can use the shield to avoid damage from the sentry, if its turrets target you you have enough time to take cover before you get clipped.
I suppose a health regen build on Marquis or Thorn could work well, the biggest problem is landing the final hit on the sentry.

I understand the benefits Toby has over the others, but my gripe with him is mostly about consistency. There are too few places, and instances, where his large character model and Force Field’s large, bright existence are out of view of an enemy and within Sentry sniping range.
Imo, it’s just leagues easier with Marquis and Thorn; Long Haul Hoodini+Windfall / Kreshek’s Judgement+Hexsanguination make sure you are constantly damaging the Sentry, and allow you to be out of sight when doing so. Coupling those choices with skill dmg, crit dmg, and attack speed allow you crit the Sentry into oblivion, so landing the last hit isn’t too hard (especially with Marquis).
Also, the only HP regen I ever took was on Thorn with her Legendary, but that was only for the crit dmg and Curse boosts it provides.
Marquis definitely seems well suited for it. I got 2 in one match with him last night in fact.

Definitely easier with a team. That won’t cap thralls or build super minions. Thralls took the sentry from half health health to 0 with one attack.
