Just to let you know, earlier today I killed Rabid Adams 50/52 times, but he only dropped a couple of regular Marekā€™s Mouths. I wonā€™t give up until we get a final answer :persevere:

Iā€™m with ya on that. I am not letting it go. I will keep at it until something official deters me. @BTK420247 hasnā€™t let me down and has been helpful in the threads. I see no reason to doubt him. :acmaffirmative:

heā€™s vanilla! :blush: and your help would be appreciated. Its in Outlands Canyon. We are farming Rabid Adams for the rare drop that we think is in his loot pool. its a luneshined version of the Marekā€™s Mouth SMG. I have several non-luneshined. I have seen it before the level cap hit 70. Not sure if it was gibbed or not as it was dropped by a random. We are trying to confirm itā€™s legitimacy. :acmaffirmative:

Itā€™ll be interesting to see if someone does get one to drop with luneshine. And I need to figure out a way to contact one of the GBX people to see if luneshines can drop from the true bosses. Maybe twitter or something? I donā€™t do any social media stuff, so Iā€™m not sure lol.

I would love an official response from someone at Gearbox on this topic. But Iā€™m not holding my breath. I truly think its up to us, the community, to get confirmation. I really like collaboration, so this is fun for me. :blush:

I was feeling super lazy when I got home yesterday; ate dinner, put on Star Wars and passed out lol. Iā€™ll try and do some runs tonight when I get home.

I put in some time while also farming EOS. I have Nisha at deck 13.5 and Aurelia at Outlands Canyon. So I just swap between the two to provide a bit of variety. :wink:

I could post more pics of the normal Marekā€™s Mouth. But, with it locked parts and all, its always the same. so I donā€™t feel the need to keep posting pics of the SMG. Until that luneshined one drops, Iā€™ll just keep at it and report back periodically. What I am in fear of is getting it, but at level 68 or 69. :tired_face:

this thread piqued my curiosity last night so i went ahead and did a few runs on rabid adams, about 25-30 runs netted me 2 mareks mouth smgā€™s niether of them having luneshine. still holding out hope, though, and plan to continue farming tonight.

was thinking about farming him. need something corrosive and decent for farming RK5. i figured marek might be okay. if i get anything, iā€™ll post a photo.

Not to discourage you from helping with the task at hand. But I would set my sights on a different corrosive weapon. Its pretty lack luster in the DPS department. :wink:

If you wanted a corrosive SMG, I would suggest farming Meg for a corrosive Torrent.

well iā€™m not tied down to any one type of corrosion weapon, (except rockets, too slow to hit him unless heā€™s coming right at you) laser, sniper, pistol, doesnā€™t matter. just something reliable, corrosive, and good for farming him. when i last fought him in UVHM i had a corrosive machine that was already out leveled (believe it was 46 and i was 55 at the time) but it did the trick. iā€™ll see what i can find, even a purple blaster would do.

but in any case iā€™ll go for rabid adams anyway, i donā€™t have a marek, and iā€™d love to see a luneshine i didnā€™t have to waste stones on. or hear that ā€œyou got the cool, you got the cool luneshine!ā€ though i might say it aloud if i got a drop.
