Devs said that they didn’t have the ranked and better match making system going in open beta. Just wondering if it is working now and anything else new from open beta?
As far I know its still the same as in the Beta. Who knows what will come in future patches.
Ya good to know. Devs lied it seems and made up BS about a better ranked/match making system then that would be in retail release.
Well, keep in mind that everyone has less than 50 matches played (I hope), which is not great for any kind of definitive ranking/matchmaking. There just isn’t enough data to put through an algorithm reliably.
I’d give it a week (or at least more than a day) before condemning the developers.
Well, I would´nt call them liars just because a random dude like me says a thing^^ I´m sure Randy & Co. know its an important feature for PvP-gamers.
But for casuals and weekend-gamers that like PvP as well it will turn the game in a 2-class system, with no chance to grow. Maybe mixed ranks are not so much of a bad thing from that perspective.
They tested it on the PC beta. They probably have some more tweaking to do before adding it in game. I am very sure it will be added in later. After the Beta they had other things they needed to adjust before the full release, this isn’t as big of a priority as for example bug fixes are.
