Really? Why not?
Darts can’t crit at all. Also, I believe you can’t get anything but Diamond Darts or Spikers from Butt Stallion as Gemstones.
Sad.
Not really. Only reason I have the ones I do (rock Ravager, garnet Anarchist and Droog, aquamarine Snider, etc) is because I’m constantly maxed out on eridium and have nothing better to do with it. So I make pitstops when I’m full and dump off all of it until I’m at ~100 or so.
Edit: they do look nice though lol
there is those Dice Chests in Tiny Tina’s DLC, though I’ve quit spending on those as I never get anything good from them
Same as you here. I think if a player really needs to dump those eridiums it’s a sign that the player has very few things left to do in the game. If it’s about getting that one piece of gear, sooner or later the player will realize the grinding is not that important, and left the game (happens to me few times, I usually come back just to enjoy playing the game and not chasing after a piece of gear I haven’t found, the Bekah).
Yeah…I’m doing that now with the Norfleet, though there are a few others I want. I should play other characters out more instead of just dabbling.
Many of us don’t play for the gear. For me, gear is simply tools to overcome the many challenges in the game-- circles of slaughter, D Peak, Invincibles, and fun zone clears. When I spend time farming now, it’s just about always an excuse to kill stuff and see what luck looks like, rather than out of need. I already have everything I need.
I really just love the combat.
Yeah, if many of you are not playing for the gear, then many of you are missing the point of the game. Not saying that it is wrong, though, I also do love the combat, because that’s why I kept coming back even not for the gear, especially paying as melee Zer0 (even though I haven’t got a good Hide). However that also means you are in the pool of many who has nothing else to do in the game just like me.
For me gear is a motivation to try out new things. If the grind gets boring, I’ll probably left the game (again, and then I’ll come back just to play a bit, then get bored, then come back for other reason, then get bored again).
Eeehhhh… I dislike “nothing else to do”, but I get that it’s a semantic quibble. I’ve beaten nearly everything (Vora is the hold out), so there’s not much left, from a completionist perspective. What keeps me coming back, day after day, enthusiastically, is that there is so much content that I love replaying. I reset pretty regularly, and have Maya, Axton, Sal, and Gaige at OP8, plus Zero at OP5, so my play experience on any given day could be… Bloodshot clear with Maya using a Hammer Buster and Maggie, or taking a run at Invincible Craw with Axton using a fire Kitten and slag Omen, or doing creature slaughter with Zero, or working through a reset with Gaige…
From my perspective, there is a lot to do!
Nothing else to do != Cannot do anything.
It may sounded better in my head, though. I just can’t find how to express it. If I’m bored by every option given by the game, then I have nothing to do, doesn’t mean I can’t do anything.
Agreed, I love this game, but it is no Morrowind, where I am still finding undocumented things 8 years later. I know the game front, back, left and right. It holds no magical appeal anymore.
My goal is just to make my main character “Perfect” in my eyes. Once that is done I will probably take up another character. Either way it isn’t crazy exciting, just something to do when bored.

I have my ups and downs. Some days I feel like there really isn’t much left for me to do…and then I get the random, brilliant idea to try spawning Verm during a Craw raid, or go looking for rare midget spawns. There’s always something to do.
As for the gear, I also have pretty much everything I would want/need; I just like farming and seeing things drop. There are a few things I still haven’t seen drop in person, so chasing after those is entertaining.
What can I say, I’m an addict. No normal person plays a single game for 2000+ hours and still wants more.

It is still my favorite game of all time (except the loading screens). I made the biggest uber potion possible. Most of the effects like Fortify Luck and Feather became permanent, and Restore Health would last for over 80 YEARS IN REAL TIME
I still find interesting things to update UESP with, like a death animation glitch I found that allows you to repetitively loot certain enemies with ammo, and how to exploit the Dark Brotherhood assassins!
It’s probably my all time favorite RPG. The game is brilliant.
Same here. It would be cool if Gearbox could make an homage to some of the Legendaries or Quests from there.
Like if there was a Slaughter Dome triggered by talking to an ancient Guardian named “Divayth Fyr” who has lived too long, you can wonder around and loot any of the chests (but first you have to hunt all the hidden switches for them, which have an eridium cost). BUT each round has newer chests, with better items, AND bigger enemies. The biggest caveat is you CAN NOT KILL ANY ENEMIES, or else you lose the round. You win if you can open all the chests.
I always loved him and his story.

Same here. His tower is such a treasure trove too. It’s like Christmas for every new character.

So many people kill him for his armor. I never do though.

I don’t care if it’s the only full set of Daedric Armor. I never have and I never will kill him.
