So, you are saying that if you have team members that are intentionally avoiding the objective to hunt down low level newbies and taunting them each and every time after killing them mercilessly, you do not want to surrender? This is the only time I vote for surrender.
If I see this type of behavior, I will want that match to end immediately. If the vote doesn’t succeed, I push minion waves, thralls, etc to try and end the match quickly.
I never said those words, so please don’t insinuate that I did. I don’t play with people like that, and if I did I doubt they’d vote for surrender so that seems a moot point.
If my team doesn’t do well or play like crap I just throw matches.
Same here. I used to leave every time but now I stay. I started to dislike not getting any credit. I surrender when I know my team won’t make a comeback or it’s a one sided match before it even begins. The only times I’ve been wrong on making a comeback is when I create it or a lucky Orendi’s Ultimate turned the tables around. Unfortunately, most of the time, the surrender is refused but I still stay till the end.
Some team members simply enjoy losing. The funny part is that they don’t get labeled as “losers”. Players that leave are the ones that get such title lol. The following screenshot is a perfect example. I had 2 other level 100+ players on my team going against 4 level 100+ average skilled (at best) enemies I realized how awful every single one of my teammates played during the first 3 minutes of the match. Yet they refused to surrender all the time.
For me surrender is just a tool for when you start a game 5v3, if my team afks i surrender, and i hope the enemy team does the same.
Sadly this happens all to often, sometime you even start a game with 3 afk players! No way am i sitting through 30 minutes of that and i doubt the opposing team wants that either.
Some people simply like playing the game and don’t crack the ■■■■■ when they lose. You win some, you lose some. Get over it and go play in tournaments or private scrims if players less skilled than you are an issue, it doesn’t take a big difference in skill to make a big difference in the result of a match in the game. Just look at the Choctaw tournament, Dunk Squad annihilated everyone and I know some of their opponents were highly skilled and considered among the best players on PS4 made to look like scrubs. I don’t understand why people play PvP games at all when losing is such an issue, you’re going to lose some and you’re going to get matched with players of lower skill levels sometimes, but quitting or trolling your own team isn’t helping them or the community.
And how does that help exactly? A bad team is a bad team but that doesn’t mean you need to be toxic and just throw the match… I take pride in the matches I’m stuck carrying and I never surrender and always play till the end. If you don’t like/can’t carry then i suggest finding friends and making a team as being toxic is the worst thing you can do since it ruins the experience for both teams.
You’re proud of that? Admitting to intentionally throwing games should be grounds for a ban tbh
I don’t understand this at all. Why would you quit rather than surrender?
I would if people still play this game.
I guess.
A ban? Lmao.
Because nobody wants to sit in matches with people who can’t play the objective.
You’re basically proudly proclaiming that you intentionally make the game less fun for everyone involved.
yeah, I’d say nothing merits a ban more than that.
Tell that to people who can’t play the objective.
I once had a match on Meltdown where my team wouldn’t push left lane. Literally, left lane was overun and the rest of team wouldn’t push it except for me. I told them, “group up on left lane”. What my team do? Nothing.
Like I mentioned in my reply you can find friends and queue up together. I play on all 3 platforms and have no issues finding people on both ps4 and xbone. There is zero reason for ruining the other 9 people in your lobbys match because you don’t like your team. If you have any issues finding people in game there are many other outlets such as clubs and groups on console and we even have a large discord server that’s helped many people like you find a group.
Losing isn’t the problem. The boredom that comes from a one sided match on a pug team is the issue. It’s doesn’t matter whether it’s a win or lose. Yet some players enjoy such matches and refuse to surrender, that makes matter worse. It’s usually the same case; those that are under performing and not helping the team are the ones that refuse to surrender.
But I rather find people who are actually good.
Most of those groups are inactive.
don’t believe so…
I’ve been in a few games lately where I’ve been winning and someone on my team starts a vote to surrender.
We’re winning… why?
Maybe it’s a boring one sided match? It doesn’t matter if it’s a win or lose, when one team is completely dominating the other, the whole match is BORING. Either the game needs to end quickly or surrender. I will never understand how people can like such scenarios on a pug team. Premades don’t belong in this mess if they’re communicating and making jokes as an example.
