Mayhem 4
I keep hearing that , but then people says dedicated drops are a % of legendary drops. So for example let’s says Graveward has 50% chance to drop a legendary , and 10% of that is a chance to drop his dedicated loot , wouldn’t playing on lower difficulties decrease the initial 50% and thus also decrease chance of getting the dedicated drop too ?
Both cant be right .
For some reason grenades seem to drop unanointed more than any other item type. I wonder if it’s because there are relatively few grenade anointments and like a million gun ones.
If you’re on xbox, look me up and I’ll give you a transformer. I have 7 different annointed types (they drop like crazy for me) so I’m certain I’ll have what you want/need.

I’ve actually had good luck farming (of all bosses), Freddie. It’s a quick rinse and repeat and his pool seems to pull a lot of things. You get his rifle almost every time for what that’s worth but I’ve had some pretty random stuff too. Got a storm front, two transformers, ion laser, etc… The number of legendaries he drops seems to vary a bit and I haven’t figured out if there’s anything that this hinges on. Normally what I’m doing is to walk up the stairs with the ion cannon charged, shuffle left up the small stairs and stick the barrel over that bush…then tag him as he spawns in for a one shot. I typically have to go finish off the bot on the right but long as you have an acid cutsman it’s no biggie. Yes…total overkill but I just enjoy the ion cannon lol. Plus if you can catch him and the two bots in a tight enough group the splash (as moze), can actuall pop them all in one shot if you crit. The cannon I’m using is just white damage but it’s 24K+ x2
I’m trying road dog now and FFS he is stingy AF with anything. The two drops he’s given me have been an artifact and a sub gun of some kind, don’t even remember now. I’m about to give up on him.
I get how the event works and I do like that the rares spawn now and it’s all good. But man, some of those drop rates are crazy low. And road dog can be a tough fight, I have to drop down to M3 to solo him. He isn’t so tough, but the bunch of BA that you gotta get through to get to him are what make it tough, that and like four annointed doesn’t help.
To answer your question “Are we being played?”
Yes definitely. Drop rates have not increased, only the anointed chance which IMO should be permanent (ESPECIALLY for M4).
I’ve killed Manvark over 20 times without a SINGLE legendary drop. I already gave up on this so called “Event”.
very disappointed with end game. feels like it’s just killing 1 mob 100 times just to drop that 1 legendary with correct anointment while 99% of all legendaries and anointments are trash.
For comparison i started playing Diablo 3 again with my friend and it took me 5 days to find all items(~15) for my build and then I just improve it.
But here i played for 2-3 weeks and I have nothing
Farming just for the sake of farming with no real reason for it is about the worst possible end game idea any developer could have. BL3 ends the story and then sort of goes “Oh, you’ve finished? Well uh, here’s a couple of short trials you can play thousands of times, over and over and over again, for no real reason.” We’re entering our 5th month since the game released and there’s been one DLC campaign to play, and that’s it. And their big event is, FARMING THE SAME THING EVEN MORE! WITH NOTHING NEW TO PLAY!
Yay?
Sounds douchey to say but I’ll say it.
If you’re bored in the Borderlands it because you’re boring.
For endgame entertainment I’m trying to find a siren build that can survive using only Action Skills and a Spark Plug Artifact.
But if you’re bored then you’re boring, the agony and irony is killing me! Sorry, thought of Flagpole Sitta after reading that line.
I have a feeling shortly after the event we’re going to see a level cap increase lol
I wouldn’t mind this to be honest. They’re skills for Zane I need that’s 11 points short on >_>
